when ever i get asked this question, i say at least 300 jumps. that way you have a bit of a understanding of the sport, your more aware and all that stuff. some people i would tell 200 or what ever if they are confident, and aware in the air, and others i say like 500, or never. the best person to ask is some of the instuctors and camera guys at you dz, and have them tell you about when because only they know your experience. so what i'm saying here is, everything people say on here, you need to take with a grain of salt, because you we don't know how you fly, or how experience/aware you are in the air. later

Municipal airport shuts down jumping

if the city takes any federal money, even 1 penny, they have to allow what they consider a aviation activity (they have a list, i don't know where it is) and skydiving is considered a aviation activity. now, if they can prove that the skydiving on the airport causes a danger to the other activities (and it has to be a legitimate danger) they can stop it, but they have to prove it. and doing all this, and taking it to court (which you buddy will have to) costs a lot of money. i had to go through all this crap with my mom and dad's dz, and we didn't have the money, so we shut down. later -

i can't remember where i got the tickets from. they where only like 110 bucks, i think that's why i have to leave so early . i haven't been up that early in a long time, but there have been many nights where i didn't make it to bed till then later

what's up i'm leaving for FL, in like 3 hours. i can't wait. it's cold, and windy here. i'll be at zhills for most of my week long trip, anyone else going to be around. i may run over to deland, or to sebastion for a day or so too. let me know if you'll be around sometime this week, and maybe we can go make a jump later

not to stop you from getting the xfire2 at all, but you should demo it first. i really love the xfire2. i have jumped a few different sizes, down to 89, and the 89 could compete with swoops of the fx for sure, but without the exta "baggage" of a crossed braced. it does great in line twist, nice and solid. later

bring lot of cash, lots. so you can jump as much as you want. and jump what ever you want. any of the specialty planes (and i read your bringing 3K that's more then enough). you spelled my name wrong, your not staying in my camper now J/K . later

i'd let her go. if she can get an early start on this sport, let her. i mean look at how many people didn't start until they were like 30 or 40 or what ever, there always saying they wish they got started at a younger age. i say the younger the better for starting. hell, i made my first tandem at 7. if the dz will let her, go for it. later

i was under the impression that the amax was between the stilleto/vision area and crossed braced. like the crossfire 2. why was i under this impression, the guy who designed it told me . they may be selling it as that on the site, but it's not. when i asked him if he thought i should get it, he told me straight out it would not be able to swoop as far a vx for velocity. but i expect something really cool from them soon (in a year or so). later

i really don't see too many of these around. i like them a lot. i will be getting one for my rig as soon as i'm not pore again. i like to be able to get my thumb in it to pull, just a bit of exta security. later

hey, how do you get the music from your computer to the mp3 player?? like is there some cable or like a little chip that you computer has to have a port for or what?? yes, i'm dumb. thanks

the A livense is a Oral exam. you have you proficancy card (the little yellow card). and you get signed off on stuff, and the oral exam would be one of them some dz's may still use the regualar exam to give the test, then just sign off on that they gave a oral exam, even though it was the written maybe. later
