    I am hoping a young women by the name of justplainchic chimes in. This girl should be a solid player for you. Hey wait a minute I need her for SCR's, what am I doing? She just wrote an article that will be published in August Skydiving mag on How SkyFest Boogies. IMO she did an awesome job. She is also leaving the country shortly after SkyFest with the Army. Oh BTW it will be her first time to be published Hmmm and I cant remember if she has been through the SCR ceremony either. carry on ladies I let her tell the rest of her story

    This is a copy of the PM that I sent earlier. We havent figured out how to do it yet. The whole program that is. Right now we have the instructors pick the winners at their local (sponsored)dz. They have certain critiera that we give them but thats it. That has been a big thorn in my side for the last few years, trying to figure out how to do it and someone that had the time. If you like we can chat at SF more about it. Kinda give you a better idea of how it currently works I am hoping that we can "hire" someone to head up the "scholarship" program this year. We have many details to work out and I am not sure how to do it. sorry guys, i really want this to go nation wide, just not sure how??

    Ok I got more details on this thing. It is adult proof (not sure if skydiver proof) and it is waterproof They quoted me $250 for 3 days and $320 for 4 days. I really like this idea, should make for a good time Just have to look at the budget. will let yall know J

    I am all about safety, but if I may. We will have two powered parachutes and a helicopter. each have their own airspace, communication is great between pilots. There is always Thursday when things might be a little slower..maybe. Not sure its been a few years since we opened on wed. If I was big into crew, I would bring my gear. Did do my first side by side a couple of weeks ago.

    Kramer, I believe I have met you but I do not know you. Does Skyfest welcome all? Yes it does. But we do not welcome those that have a preconceived notion that they will cause trouble with others? If you have other issues with customers of SkyFest that you think might create a problem for more, then I have to ask you to please step down until those issues are resolved. SkyFest is about giving to the skydiving community. And taking care of people. Please do.

    A couple of updates: Attached is the Auction List There are some great items on there. The Auction will start shortly after the awards ceremony Saturday night. We have the ability to take MC, Visa, AX, and Discover Next, we still need help for the Balloons. This is weird, they have never been a problem before but this year has been hell. See above for details. Hope everyone is well J

    OK Latest update The shirts have been ordered with a slight change. SF logo on back. DZ.com on right chest and name space on left chest. Shirts are either royal or navy, i forget 50 shirts ordered we have about 25 pre sold. The remaining 25 shirts are first come first serve. Meaning if you want a size of choice speak up now. We guessed and mixed up the sizes for the last 25. They run $7.00 at SkyFest or $11.00 if you want us to ship. thanks to everyone J

    Bob You mentioned a photo contest during SF. Couldn't find the actual post, but lets talk some more...again. My thinking is: What does SF mean to you or your interpretation of the vibe we create? Basicaly, tell that story with three photos. Two competitions: One for ground shots. Another for Air. I am sure I can come up with an L&B Audible to give away. Hmm what else might I find... Of course we would like to use the photos for promo stuff.

    Thank you again sparky. I was replying to a pm a minute ago and in it I said " It would be shame on all of us for losing the biggest boogie in the world" After thinking about that a bit more, I wonder how much truth is in that statement. I bet more than we think. There is a saying that is something to the effect of, "If you continue to do what you do, you will always have what you have." Excuse me if I butchered that, but you get my point. I like this saying because you can apply it to anything. Business, health, relationships etc.. Maybe we all need to take a different approach so we can see different results. Anyways, just some random thoughts. Have a great 4th!

    Or, stop giving it away to all the boogie bag crap that cost thousands of dollars to every, tom, dick,and harry that ask for it for their "great" boogie. Things are a changing, the question is can the boogies keep up???? I bet there is a way for the events to give back to help the manafacturers and make their trip worth while.

Ben Hang tight for me till midday tomorrow before you do anything, let me straighten something out. What Nathan says is correct, I cant vouch for the Pearland part cause I never made it passed Angleton. Let me see what I can do. thanks J
