    You're welcome, I guess... Well, hopefully, I can get Cora down to Texas in July for SkyFest, and we might decide to give you another chance. I know I could, but Cora will have to answer that part herself. I like a man who knows how to beg. And, I will make sure to be current before SF so I can jump you... Uh, I mean, jump with you. It just takes one slip of the tongue, doesn't it. Keep your chin up! We all love you!! Can I move the dates up by ....hmmmm lets say too....next week????? Thank you, and now all of sudden I dont mind if July gets here sooner. Usually I am always behind on SF so it comes too fast...Doohhh Anyway thanks for that, and hope to see you soon.....er J

    I cant help thinking about what my brother said after our father passed almost the same way. "He died of natural causes, in his natural environment." Another one that comes to mind was on a not so great jumping day. I believe it was TK, gets on the PA from manifest and says; "Johnny, close your trailer door, your creating overcast conditions for the rest of us"

    So I wonder if they are allowing previous records to be submitted to become "official". Looking at Oklahoma's records that may be the case. If I am reading it correctly. Does that mean we could submit the attached jump? It was the first 7 way over Texas. Completed in Sept. 1968, photo by Jerry Schrimsher. I think Sherry was a judge by then. Of course she was two weeks away from giving birth to my brother. J

    Reminds me of a lesson my father taught me a long time ago. Father asks "Hey J, why dont you where your helmet on takeoff?" J "Hey dad its too hot!" Father " Ok I just wanted to know what you thought your life was worth when this plane crashes on takeoff." He jumped for 41 years starting in 1959. I now where my helmet on every takeoff. If you can imagine it happening in skydiving...it can... Hmmm? $10 to change a color on my rig that might eat up the fabric..... Well probably doesnt matter anyway if it was already faded....we all know the value of faded fabric. Skydiving equipment is not the place to "cheat". Be safe.
