Wanted Videographers at SkyFest 7! Will pay two jump tickets for every jump! Will pay double for out of focus still shots!!! Geeeezzz!!

    I talked to Steve earlier, he was already ahead of us. They are working on the wording and they want to see how the 150 ways go with the rules. He said he should have something by the end of the month. I also found out that one of two aircraft have been confirmed. An Apache or a Blackhawk will be on static display during the event!! I want ot push some buttons.

    Hey Walt First, sorry I didnt get to catch up with you at Dublin. I am not sure of the exact wording of Spacelands rule at the moment but I can tell you that there are four different landing areas. I will get with Steve and see if we can get a drawing and rules for the areas. We have been very "lucky' for SkyFest, in the 6 years and 20,000 jumps we have had one broken leg, and of course a few bumps and bruises. Which was done in freefall by two national champions. 37% of our customers are A and B license holders, wich amazes me even more with our stats. If I am following you correctly, I for one am all about your concerns. We have an extremely safe event so far and I plan on keeping it that way. Of course I am worried and due to the nature of our sport we are probably "overdue" if you will. Which scares the HELL out of me. But all we can do is put the rules in place and enforce them. I will get something posted as soon as I can. Hope to see you there.

    When I jumped he was up front, that was a pain in the butt. But last Oct. we threw 4 from it and he was flying from the rear. Much better exit for the jumper.

    Hey All! I got us another specialty aircraft!! This isnt the exact one but we have a 1946 Champ! The one we will have I have jumped, lots of fun. I exited at about 40mph and went on my back. I was tracking and after about 6 seconds I was pulling ahead of the plane!! It was so cool. Must have a B license Enjoy!!

    They are doing big ways next door at Z hills. The sound of 160 bodies and then the opening of the canopies!! What a thrill. Been around this sport all my life and I still get chills running thru my body when I hear that sound!! I would say they only had about 8 - 10 out this time. Not bad for the first jump of the day!! Good spotting too, the cut away main landed pretty close to the peas! We are having a big party tonight for them at Sun Path, should be a good one, glad I am off tomorrow!!     Howdy Robert! We can handle 500. I would prefer to grow to that number so I can make sure we provide the service that the event stands for. Can I handle 10 days is probably the real question? Hell I usually dont have a voice by Friday night. Lets see what happens.... see you there

    Thanks Travis And as a reminder SkyFest was the only place you could find more than 4 manufacturers in one place last year. I have 12 confirmed so far for this year. Not to mention the 12 aircraft we had last year for your jumping pleasure. Well except the Apache they would not let us jump that The WFFC will be missed, although for the last seven years going there as a rep was allot of work. I was hoping one day to go as a customer.
