  1. Updates Pre registration will close by noon tomorrow (Friday July 6th) Skyventure Colorado will be on hand offering free coach jumps. Jim (airtwardo) will conduct a Smoke Jumping Seminar Norman Kent is to arrive Friday, get your photo taken by one of the best in the industry! Skyvan, heli, powered parachutes, champ, otters, caravan and the AN2 are all confirmed We all know there has been a bunch of rain, but not to worry, the forecast looks good. The temperature is looking to be in the high 80's!!!!! If we do experience some rain, we have plenty to do while we are waiting. With 18 vendors on hand one might call it a Symposium. We can also play some "rain" games like a creeper competition, the Duck drop, and more. We have plenty of prizes to give away and auction off! An exciting announcement willbe made during SkyFest this year!! Ok what did i miss??? See ya'll soon J
  2. Nervous? Why on earth could I make you nervous? J and J and Pops and I are all upstanding citizens. We would NEVER EVER steer you wrongly. atleast not in the air.......
  3. Hey JAY!! you da man!! Glad you will make it. I started a ride sharing thread a couple of weeks ago but I could not find now. There was a nathan I beleive erlie in this thread that was offering rides too. See ya soon J
  4. Had to hide in the camper between each load. Also, at night if you didn't have a camper you were stuck outside as the hangar was locked up. If the weather is nice i am sure you can get a shit load of jumps in. In a boogie i also like the night entertainment, the social aspect of a boogie. That i believe is the only thing missing from skyfest. Bit of an oxymoron dont ya think? We did 3000 jumps in 3 days last year, that would never happen if we catered to the night life........IMO the social part of a boogie is the jumping, people joining together to teach, learn and have fun.....in the sky.... And we like to be up and jumping by 8 am on a sunday morning not sleeping till noon, well most of the time.... Ok thats a lie i will sleep in on Sunday....its my time to get a break...

  13. Dacron ROCKS!! I love them on my SP 150. My Spectre's have always opened nice but the Dacron really makes a difference. But if your an old fart like me and prefer hard links you cant use the rubber bumpers. When the slider grommet sits on the bumber it restricts the space for the control line to move freely. So I went to reserve slinks and problem solved. Love my spectre
