They are only 'pro-birth'. Once the kid pops out, they no longer give a fuck.

It's basic 'headline syndrome' (or something like that). Every major story is now a 10 second sound bite. Or one sentence headline. At the beginning, it was 'Ukraine will fall in days'. When the Russians pulled back from Kiev and concentrated on the east, it was 'Eastern Ukraine will fall in days'. Now that it's showing that the Ukrainians are capable and competent, it's turned around to "Russia will be defeated in days".

So why did you put those items in the first line of your post on her? -

And a lesbian. Funny that it seems to only be Fox that has a problem with her. -
Nope. The S&TA can ground the TI for a variety of reasons. The S&TA CANNOT declare the TI's medical cert 'invalid' (even though it technically is). Nope. HIPPA applies to Health Care Plans, clearinghouses and health care providers (this can include employers when the health care plan is provided through the employer). https://www.cms.gov/Regulations-and-Guidance/Administrative-Simplification/HIPAA-ACA/AreYouaCoveredEntity In this case, USPA doesn't fit any of these.

Oops. You're right. 1/3 no longer able to participate in the fight. Killed, injured or captured. https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2022/05/15/russia-lost-a-third-of-its-forces-in-ukraine-now-its-losing-the-war/?sh=5f54e313352e

The Russians (and Soviets both after and before the Russians) have a long history of allowing their troops to die in ridiculously large numbers. There are reports that 1/3 of the Russian soldiers deployed to Ukraine have been killed. If that's true, they've lost more soldiers in Ukraine in less than 3 months than they did in 10 years in Afghanistan.

Did they actually demonstrate good sense? Or did the video simply stir up their homophobia?

Don't forget how loudly the Alt-Right is screaming about the 'border crisis', pretending that 'millions of illegals are streaming across the border and Biden is just letting them in.' Bare faced lie, but they like it so it 'must be true'.

Oops. Sorry I missed this. Which doesn't really matter because I don't do a whole lot of 'touristy' stuff. I know where the DZs are. SDMW & Skyknights (East Troy). Both good places. Skyknights is sorta famous because Jeff Dawson (Sans founder and world record holder) is from there. Lots of good 'nature stuff'. WI has a pretty robust state park system. If you like Harleys, Milwaukee is the home. Miller has a big plant there. To be honest, you'd do better on the Tourism Federation of Wisconsin site. It used to be the Wisconsin Tourism Federation, but they changed the name because it was shortened to WTF.

What could they have done? They can't just 'take his guns away'. They can't just commit him. It's not that they 'didn't take it seriously enough'. It's that our current system has no way to stop someone like this.

Hi Jerry, An embryo can be frozen for a very long time, then used to create a living baby. The current record is 27 years, with the baby being born in Oct 2020. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-55164607 Can't do that with a baby. OTOH, as far as vaccines go, a pregnant woman won't make other women around her pregnant. I'm not sure if I agree with vax mandates or not (none exist at the moment). I AM in favor of not allowing unvaxxed people in certain places, to do certain activities and putting them at the 'back of the line' for medical care.

US national 7 day average new cases topped 100k. Again. Last time it was over 100k was Feb 19th. Bottomed out April 4th at a bit over 28k. Deaths are staying quite low. 7 day average is bouncing around 300 or so. It jumped up to around 600 for a few days back at the beginning of May, but has been steady or slowly declining since mid April.

Hi Jerry, It's a lot more obvious in hindsight. Afghanistan in the 80s & 90s showed a few weaknesses. When the Soviet Union collapsed, the corruption skyrocketed. It was always there, but capitalism sent it through the roof. So you get ancient rations, ancient tires, 'miracle tanks' that exist only on paper, untrained thugs instead of actual trained soldiers. I won't pretend I could have predicted it, but I'm also not as surprised as I might have been.

Nukes would definitely set off WW3. A-10s (or any other serious attack) from Ukraine might set it off. I'm not worried about anyone else attacking Russia with A-10s (or anything else) at the moment. The original album question was about the aid being provided to Ukraine, and why there were certain 'big ticket ' things being left out.
-
Not really. Keep in mind that even the US military doesn't trust it's people with nukes. Everything is a 'two man rule'. Places that store or carry nukes have 'no lone zones'. Penalty for violating those is pretty severe. Overall, I'd trust the Ukrainians with more capability. I think they'd keep a tight enough rein on it. They know the consequences for some 'lone wolf' going after Moscow. But the possibility still exists. And I think most of the countries that would be supplying, say, planes with that sort of capability, are very aware of those possibilities and aren't willing to take the risks, however small they may be.

I'm a couple hours north of Milwaukee, so probably not. Depending on which way you go, Skydive Midwest is a bit south of there (about 20 miles south, just off of I94). Good folks, good place. Even if you don't want to jump, hanging around with a bunch of weirdos who jump out of planes is always a good time. However, if I was doing the driving, I wouldn't go that way. 80 bends south a bit in Iowa. Going up through Cedar Falls, up 151 to Madison and across 94 to Milwaukee would be a better route. Sounds like you have found a different obsession.

I agree. But I have been wrong on these judgements before. And its also not just a matter of the 'Ukranian Government'. There's also the entire military and everyone in it. Can we be sure that none of those people are crazy enough to do something stupid?

You don't really believe that, do you? They may not sell the info to advertisers, but if you think they don't track it...

The "bodily autonomy" discussion is a good one. However, a more important one is 'privacy'. The underlying rationale behind Roe V Wade was the fairly simple idea that a medical procedure should be a private matter between the patient and the doctor. As a SC decision and precedent, it was used for a LOT of things. HIPAA is one of the easiest to spot. If Roe v Wade goes away, there could easily be a challenge that destroys HIPAA.

I don't doubt that. Both of those were 'race based'. Doesn't change the fact that he used a gun. Something readily available here in the US, and not so much in most of the rest of the world. These sorts of shootings occur on a fairly regular basis here in the US. Not so much elsewhere (they aren't a 'never' thing, but much less common).

Hi Jerry, One of the things that's restricting the 'free for all' of giving Ukraine unlimited arms is the idea that if they use them to attack Russia, Russia will retaliate. Both against Ukraine and whoever gave them those weapons. For example, it's less than 500 miles from Kiev to Moscow. If we gave them, say, old A-10 ground attack planes, it would not be out of the realm of possibility for Ukraine to send them to Moscow (or other targets inside Russia). At that point, Russia would likely retaliate, because they would correctly fear that they are going to be attacked repeatedly. And that they would have large quantities of civilian casualties. And serious damage to infrastructure. You know, like they did to Ukraine. At that point, all bets would be off. Would they launch missiles? Would they send long range bombers? Would they use nukes? No freak clue what the answers to those are. Other than "maybe". The idea of "MAD" (Mutually Assured Destruction) is what kept anyone & every one from using nukes in the past. I think if Russia faces serious attack, Putin may stop giving a fuck, understanding that Russia as we know it is finished. At that point he may well use the old cliche of "see you all in hell" and push some buttons just to say 'fuck you' to the rest of the world.

You've been predicting "SHTF" for as long as either you or I have been on here (not sure who was here first). It has yet to appear. I was somewhat expecting it to happen back in Spring 2020. Once I realized that the supply chain was functioning properly (more or less), I stopped worrying about it.

There's a lot of neo-Nazis in Europe. Virtually zero mass shootings with military style semi-auto weapons. Its also kind of funny that it's not being called 'terrorism'. Maybe because real terrorists have brown skin? (we really need a 'sarcasm' font on here)

A million dead, and it didn't have to be that way.

And Ivermectin. America's Frontline Doctors is making serious coin by prescribing Ivermectin and HCQ.
