Yep, Telesis is a fine rig. Just remember to check the pilot chute routing, velcro if it is on the leg, and the closing pin is snug. I've been flying on my back in a Telesis rig many times. Great Job. I quit chewing Tobacco on November 2nd, 2001. I did need the gum, than the patch, and it was still the worst thing I have had to do (chewing for 22 years off-and-on, 9 years straight since I started up again). You will probably notice some performance loss with a fully inflated pilot chute. If you get the chance, buy yourself a good kill-line pilot chute and it will last for years. I psyco-packed my Monarch this weekend as suggested by Precision. For the Monarch Precision suggests rolling the nose into the center cell. Precision notes that you can just leave the nose in the center on other canopies and fold than roll the tail. However, it is up to the instructor to teach you how to overcome your problems. If the one "gentleman" can not provide good instruction, find another instructor or DZ that can work with you. Northern California. The prices are generally a little lower than southern CA and you can get to 4 or 5 different DZ's in about 2 hours. That way you get different aircraft, different locations, and most DZs accept the other locations training so you would not have to repeat jumps. :::OK, Canopy is Open, No Traffic Around, ..
