I'mm Backkkk! Skyding - better than any drug
LuckyMcSwervy replied to stlouis_jumper's topic in Introductions and Greets
Good luck and please stay on track. On November 3, 2002, my younger brother died of a heroin overdose (while he was IN a rehabilitation facility). It was the darkest moment of my family's existence. Please stay clean and sober. You family loves you and wants you here to watch your new life thrive! Oh yeah, and to watch your accomplishments skydiving! -
About Security Equipment in Skydiving... Pease help me...
LuckyMcSwervy replied to sdy's topic in Safety and Training
BINGO!! We have a winner! That has to be one of the all time best gags pulled in the skydiving community. I believe there are some old threads on here floating around on that device. Someone recently had a funny auction for that on eBay. There was another joke device but I can't remember it right now... I laughed my ass off!! Always be kinder than you feel. -

The doctor just called in some Avelox to the pharmacy for me. Let's hope this is the magic bullet that will get me back to work tomorrow and back on the Otter Saturday!!! Always be kinder than you feel. -
Ohhhhhhhh, plot twist! LOL! Imagine finding junk in the redhead's pants? Now, how would you explain that to the blonde? "Honey, take me back for a month because the other chick has a dick!" Always be kinder than you feel.

Things to look forward to when Obama is President

OMG - Charlie Murphy! You must be a Dave Chappelle fan! Love him!! What role would Tyrone Biggums play?? (for those Chappelle Show viewers!) Or Rick James??!! And dubs with fucking spinners. I just pictured the presidential motorcade rolling fucking spinners. LOL! Thanks for making me almost choke on a very dry blueberry muffin!! Always be kinder than you feel. -
What about not seeing both of them and starting fresh with someone else? Next up should be a brunette! Seriously, unless you and the blonde have spoken directly about not seeing anyone else then I think the date with the redhead is fair game. Treat the redhead's date as just having fun with a friend, no harm there....... see where it leads. Maybe it would be a dud anyway? Good luck! Always be kinder than you feel.

I agree. My house is now 2 1/2 years old and I didn't believe the "Energy Star" ratings the builders were making such a big deal out of.... But once the utility bills started rolling in I finally believed the hype! My 1100 square foot apartment had higher utility bills than the 2000 square foot house. And if the projected cost of energy pans out, you'll be glad you've taken steps to keep your home's energy cost as low as you can. Always be kinder than you feel.

LOVED IT....but got a BAD case of Vertigo...
LuckyMcSwervy replied to stanzj21's topic in Introductions and Greets
""At what point did you get the vertigo? I agree with everyone else to see a doc, but at the same time, tandem harnesses do fit differently than sport rigs, and some students get dizzy, nauseous, etc from the blood pooling in their legs and away from their brain.. happens under canopy or on landing. "" ____________________________________ You know what? I'm going to also mention this to my doctor because it's probably something he should take into consideration with a diagnosis. He doesn't know anything about skydiving, so it may help him with the overall picture....... Thanks, PR for that information! Always be kinder than you feel. -

I saw your post last week but refrained from posting until I knew what was wrong with ME. LOL! I was under canopy on my T3 last Saturday when I got vertigo and nausea during a some turns. I told the instructor right away as I was the one doing the turns. We landed and I sat there for a minute telling the instructor I was okay, I was just shaking off the vertigo. I could've totally puked but there was no way in hell I was going to do it in front of people! (BTW, this was my 2nd jump of the day, the other one went off without a hitch). I figured I needed to get some food into my stomach since I only had a yogurt all day and it was already 1pm, so I grabbed a burger and waited to get my log book signed so I could get out of there and get home to bed. Made a doctor's appointment for Tuesday night, just to be sure it wasn't anything else, and my doctor wouldn't give me Antivert, he wanted to make sure it wasn't something else first and told me to call him Monday morning to let him know how the weekend's jumps went, if there was any other vertigo, etc. Needless to say, no jumps for me to call in to him about....... Wednesday morning, I'm sick as a dog with the sinuses, a bit dizzy, losing my voice, sinuses clogged, hearing is a bit foggy, etc. I call the doctor and they call me in a Z-Pack (antibiotics). The Z-Pack isn't working this time so I dig up some 5 year old Levaquin and have been taking 750 mg. twice a day since Saturday. I don't know if it's working a bit or it this is running it's course... So, I feel like shit all week and finally succumb to the MOTHER of all sinus infections. I was scheduled for AFF1 this past Saturday morning but I could barely squeak out a voice to call the drop zone to cancel. The lady on the phone said, "Yeah, you can't jump like that". Well, fast forward to this morning and I'm still sick, fever, clogged nose and ears - an overall feeling of 'sick as fuck'. I've had 3 sinus surgeries over the years, so I know I have sinus isses, but they haven't been this bad in a while. It's kinda depressing to obsess about getting better so I can get back to the drop zone. So, my advice to you is to get your ass to a doctor, at least get it checked out before you jump again. You owe it to yourself and your fellow jumpers! PS - Sorry this was so long. Always be kinder than you feel. -
Haha! You keep thinging about getting/wanting/needing a blowjob hummer, not a freaking vehicle Hummer! Always be kinder than you feel.

1. Common interests help, I think. (there's nothing like someone giving you shit on a Saturday if you want to go golfing, skydiving, etc. and the other wants go shopping together, winefests, etc.). Alone time is good, but when you think you'll spend 24/7 together when you don't have common interests, could cause some tension. 2. Financial equality. (My last relationship ended because I was getting VERY resentful paying for the majority of the "couples" stuff - vacations, etc.) I could go on and on and on with this one. 3, Similar family backgrounds. Who else understands Italian families better than another Roman Catholic Italian? Always be kinder than you feel.

Those little yellow and black striped shit fuckers

This was the funniest shit I've read all day. And I hate those little cocksuckers, too! I always get a huge bite site reaction. Always be kinder than you feel. -
I totally agree. Consult an attorney before you confront her, you'll have a better idea where you stand with everything. Personally, I would take pictures of the domestic conditions, take pics of your child, etc., keep them somewhere she can't access them. I see you're in the military? Isn't there someone on base or some kind of social worker who probably has experience with these types of domestic issues? I remember when I was going through my separation and divorce, I belonged to a betrayed spouses message board. There were some military wives and husbands who spoke of some kind of assistance. Whatever happens, stay strong. It sounds like you've already made up your mind, but remember to take the high road so she doesn't try to stick it up your ass later. Always be kinder than you feel.

I gave my ex-husband a passive aggressive ultimatum - I broke up with him and started to date someone else. I was in the 'baby fever - my cousins are all married mode', I was 32, and that's when I finally said enough of his stalling, I cutaway (haha). Then he showed up teary eyed on my doorstep one night asking me to take him back and he'll make it right. He asked me to give him a couple of months so he could get everything in order, research and buy a ring, etc. In hindsight, if he didn't propose in those almost 8 years, there was a reason for it. And I guess that's one of the reasons why we're now divorced. I think proposals should come naturally, with a lot of love and happiness, not an ultimatum or power struggle. Always be kinder than you feel.

For me, I like to enjoy time by myself for a while after having someone pretty much surgically implanted up my ass for the last year and a half (that's why I ended it - he was smothering me, I didn't want to get married to him and I wasn't crazy about his kids.). I like time alone with my friends, the bed to myself, no one else messing up my house, etc. Alone time for me is very therapeutic! I think that's the first time I've actually held off from dating. Well, that and the fact that I haven't been asked out!!! Plus, if I hadn't taken the "me" time I was so desperately craving I would've put off skydiving for the hundreth time. But that's just me. LOL. Always be kinder than you feel.

Definitely no sex on the 1st date. Good things come to those who wait. Very good things!!! I haven't seen anyone mention anything about pre-fuckfest STD testing! Condoms are mandatory, but you know, there's some other scary shit out there. I'm about 6 months out of a 1 1/2 year relationship and made him wait 9 dates (over a few weeks or so). Maybe I subconsciously knew that it wouldn't work out in the end and I didn't want to get "dickmatized" (meaning: blinded/hyhpnotized by the dick) and lose focus on getting to know him. Now that I'm almost ready to date again (waiting until I get all of my AFP levels done), I have to start thinking about this shit again! Always be kinder than you feel.

Jumped 2 weeks ago for 40th Birthday.
LuckyMcSwervy replied to iceage's topic in Introductions and Greets
Haha! On July 4th I did a tandem jump to end my 30s in style! Now I am sooooooooooooo hooked! I have a feeling my 40s are going to be awesome!! I've signed up for AFP and had ground school last Saturday and I have 2 more tandems set for this Saturday. And I can't get any of my friends or family to go with me (I hear the "you're out of your mind" phrase quite a bit lately). So........... it looks like I'm going to want to make some more friends, too! Good luck on the "negotiations"! My negotiation skills suck because I never got to do this when I was married!!! I don't have an answer to your question but I just wanted to say good luck. I blew out my MCL last year (falling down 1 step - - go figure) so I know how much this sucks. Take care! Always be kinder than you feel. -
Just wondering if anyone noticed an influx of weirdos and weird friend requests to your MySpace after this thread?? Not including my friend requests, of course! Always be kinder than you feel.
