LOL. I've heard more cursing at my DZ than an episode of The Sopranos. A couple of weeks ago I was chillin' out back watching the landings when I heard a girl behind me say "fucking douche bag" like she's said it a million times. I thought, "Ahhhhhhhhhh, I'm home!"

I was sore as hell after my first tandem. I'm so freaking out of shape! I keep a few bottles of Aleve, Tylenol and Advil in the bag I take to the DZ. I take Aleve in the morning before I jump and then again that night. Yesterday morning it was a little hard to get out of bed I was so sore (probably from my ass slide landing) but I actually laughed because I was so pathetic. Maybe you can get a quick check up from your doctor or maybe head to a chiropractor was an adjustment, then jump and see how you feel? BTW - At the DZ I saw a guy stretching the other morning, now I know why. Always be kinder than you feel.

We'll see......... I'm in the M-F 8:30am - 4:30pm category. I'm going to try to get to the DZ after work before it gets too dark. I only have 5 jumps and need to get my A finished before it gets toooooo cold. (I'm a wimp with the cold weather and I want to be able to jump down south this winter). I do worry about keeping my skill level up since I'll pretty much be a weekend jumper. I should've been a teacher. Always be kinder than you feel.

I didn't see the attached picture until this post. My bet is state parole or probation. Or someone from the county prosecutor's office like an investigator. Did you run your address thorugh Google to try to see who used to live there (or at least be associated with your addess)? Once you get a few names then you can go to your State's corrections (and Megan's Law) website to see if you can come up with a hit. I used to work in this field, and I was the one being awakened in the middle of the night to sign the warrants before they came looking for your (not you specifically, but your generally) ass. I used to get pissed off when they couldn't find someone after I was awakened at 3am because the cops were sure the defendant was at the baby momma's or mother's house and they came up emptyhanded. And BTW, I can smell a pig from a mile away! (Cops, please don't get offended. That was a Kid Rock quote!) Always be kinder than you feel.

Everyone - Thanks so much for your kind words. I did my AFF 2 yesterday morning. Freefall totally rocked!! I turned very well and did the forward motion a few times. I loved the way I'm making my body move (not just gravity pulling me towards the earth - LOL) in freefall. I did kinda bumble fuck the landing pattern but it worked out okay in the end. I didn't flare enough on landing (only about 1/2 brakes) and slid in. I had a great instructor (Rob) who made it extremely educational and a lot of fun. Actually, I think both my AFF 1 instructor (Nathan) and Rob went above and beyond what I was expecting instruction-wise. The time they both took was very much appreciated. They were busy as shit (with students and other stuff) Sunday and Monday but both days I felt like I was their only student. The confidence they instilled in me will probably follow me through my skydiving passion forever. Awesome. The above paragraph may sound cheesy, but it's all true. I've been told XKeys has a 1st rate coaching staff, and although I'm new and don't know from shit, I totally agree! Well, let's hope this bitch Hurricane Hannah doesn't totally frig my weekend plans for AFF 3 and beyond. Always be kinder than you feel.
