Haha! I call them "nooners"! Haven't done that since I was married and lived a lot closer to work than I do now. Ummm...... I can image the nickname I would get - Dr. Lucky, ready with the KY for prostate exams in the hangar.... LOL. Ewww. Well, since I haven't done a stand up landing at this point, I guess it'll be something to work on before the first snowfall. Can't have snow rash on the pink parts, right? Now that sounds COOL! No Hate Intended but my DZ is only 16 minutes from my driveway But since we live in the town where there are 5 major aircraft manufacturers including Cessna & Hawker-Beech, it ain't really that hard to find a ride if ya need one. I bet I could get to the DZ in about 6 minutes if I didn't have to go around 4 airfields and the AFB. Oh yea, ask the 8 Ball if I will be getting my Luck or my Swervey on this weekend. Now *I'm* the hater! I don't have the Magic 8 Ball with me but I'm willing to bet you'll be getting lucky and your swerve on this weekend!!! Always be kinder than you feel.

Hearing "awesome cold hand pain under canopy" made me go to Dick's today on my lunch hour and I bought Under Armour Cold Gear Armourstretch Gloves. They're thin enough to feel everything with a bit of grip to the fingers and palm. I hope these were a good choice. Always be kinder than you feel.

My Dad was really into history. He and my Mom would take us for walks in the woods, and my Dad would kinda 'disappear' for a few minutes (us 3 kids never noticed) and then we would 'find' stuff like old Indian arrowheads and stuff like that. It was so awesome and so cool. It was very inspiring because then we wanted to learn more about the who/what/when/where/why of our little trips. We also went on a family history trek through some local cemetaries. That was cool, too. Kind of a get to know the family that came before us, some of them were the reason were were now 'here'. Really cool. Weird, but cool.

Well, it gave me focus. Which I really, really needed. And it beat the hell out of playing golf. My clubs haven't seen the light of day since I made the first tandem July 4th. Amen...but i guess my sarcasm didn't come through loud and clear... oh well... And here I was thinking serious thoughts and all.......... Ahhhh the beauty of the internet!
