Oh gosh, I'm just flattered to be a finalist! I like yours too. It evokes all three of my favorite boogie activities: 1) Flying badly 2) Driving back to the hotel at 3 am without getting busted, and 3) That thing that used to happen at the hotel that I can hardly remember... Not bad for someone I still -just a tiny bit- suspect might be a dude. Your description is pretty much on the money. I got the nickname "Lucky" from my ex-husband because, well, I'm so fucking unlucky with getting hurt/sick, etc. It was really fitting at the time. The "McSwervy" comes from my sometimes walking swervy and also having fun while "getting my swerve on". Kinda sily but if you knew me personally you would totally get it. Which one did you like the least? (I am not a Porter fan) Truthfully, I liked the speed of the Porter but I prefer the Otter and Skyvan. At one point I had my face in some dude's lap when I needed to turn around so I could exit. I was like, "How YOU doin'?" My 2008: Jan. - Went to Excellence Riviera Maya for 8 days. Awesome place. Then broke up with the dude a week after we got home. That trip was the straw the broke the camel's back, so to speak. Feb. - Cranky. The guy I broke up with was bothering me all the time. I tried staying friends. Mar. - Went to Las Vegas with the dude I broke up with in January. Lost $2,500. March sucked balls. Apr., May & June - They must've been okay because nothing is jumping out from my memory that is totally negative. July, August & September - Did my first tandem July 4th, then a few weeks later made the final decision to sign up for AFP. That was the best decision and the best money I've ever spent!! Let's pray that October, November and December turn out to be wonderful months!! Always be kinder than you feel.

That I graduated AFP Tuesday? I thought I had one more jump left before I was finished but when I came into the hangar after my 2nd jump of the day, my instructor said "Congratulations! You just graduated!" Then I gave him a big hug! I was soooooo excited! Then there was the graduation pic with everyone at the DZ that day. It was so cool. As soon as I get a copy emailed to me I'll share it. Woohoo! I did the high and low solo after that, so 4 jumps on Tuesday! Life is good! I ran and bought a case of Heineken for the beer light festivities, then went out to dinner with some friends from the DZ. It was such a perfect day! A few firsts for that day: 1. Graduated AFP 2. First time out of a Porter 3. First time I stepped in goose shit in the LZ I've been so happy the last couple of days. I went back to the DZ yesterday but I was soooo sore and bruised (from the student rig) that I could hardly stand up straight or bend over. LOL - I'm getting old! So I just hung out and watched swoop club for a while before I went shopping. I just paid for my Coach Jump package online so I am all set for this weekend. I can't wait to get back in the air Saturday!! Oh, and I'm going to the tunnel in North Carolina for the first time next weekend with a bunch of people from my DZ and a couple of the awesome instructors. I haven't been this excited about anything in a longgggg time! Life is GOOD!!
