In my younger days of the all night clubbing and drinking, us New Jersey kids would swear by a visit to a diner for some greasy cheeseburgers and a milkshake or breakfast to make the yuckies go away. Now I just roll into McDonald's and grab a cheeseburger or a Quarter Pounder with Cheese (no onions or pickles) and a large Diet Coke. I swear that takes the major edge off of any hangovers I've had (well, at least the ones where I was able to get myself into my car and drive to McD's). Always be kinder than you feel.

I think he's angling for a "put on a bikini and take a picture with today's newpaper so you can prove it's really you/yours/you're not a dude" again. In the summer I'll invite everyone over for a party (at night, of course - can't mess with the skydiving sunlight hours). Always be kinder than you feel.

Can my new-ish pool count as a non-skydiving toy? I hardly enjoyed it this summer from spending a lot of days at the DZ. This was my first (yeah, I know - BEER) full season with it ready to go right after Memorial Day. I do get to chill out at night with a glass of wine and my dinner. It's so cold..... I need a vacation to somewhere warm already!!!

I don't know if this will help.... but have you seen the stemless wine glasses? I don't own any myself but I've been to a few restaurants that use them... they feel pretty sturdy because there's no stem... And damn! You break a lot of glasses! Always be kinder than you feel.

: 0 : 0 Saturday - Terrible weather, tornado watches, etc., no jumps. Did have 2 skydiving friends come over after their all nighter of partying in Atlantic City. They made me laugh, we hung out for a few hours until the new dude "new special person in my life" came over. Sunday - High winds, no jumps. The new dude "new special person in my life" is on his way to Z-Hills as I write this. I'm happy for him but I'd rather be on my way down there with him instead of going to work tomorrow! No beer owed from me this weekend! Edited for SO clarification. Always be kinder than you feel.

No pie yet. However I think when I see my Mom she will do the honors. She has 1700 jumps. That's sweet! Like when my brother graduated the police academy my Dad pinned his badge on him because my Dad was a cop, too. Tradition!! Love it!!
