What is it with hairdressers and very long hair???
LuckyMcSwervy replied to Nataly's topic in The Bonfire
My hair was just past my belly-button and was one length (save for the front, from a couple of years ago when the hairdresser decided I needed layers - argh!!)... I had to stand up for her to cut my hair... She combed it back and I couldn't see what she was doing until out of the corner of my eye I noticed a loooong bit of hair on the floor... But it was too late... She worked fast and was already half-way done. Now it barely covers my boobies... AND she cut it in layers - ARRRRRRGH. Holyyyyy shit. You deserved to be pissed. THAT is a HUGE cut!!!!!! I would've sat there and cried. Always be kinder than you feel. -
Actually, I really do. I just wish coworkers like the girl who set up to have her terribly expensive SUV stolen from a restaurant parking lot during a work Christmas party. She couldn't afford it any longer, she couldn't just sell it, she had to make it insurance fraud too. Apparently she had a dirty drug test in the past, cried racism, went to therapy and she was retained. Until this, of course. Always be kinder than you feel.

Never thought to Google "How to buy weed on teh internetz?!" huh? Nope. Not even once. I'm a geek who has a high security clearance and drug testing hanging over my head. One joint would ruin my professional life and reputation. The ironic thing is I'm eligible for medical marijuana. Out of curiosity since I've never had to piss into a cup to write code, but do they also test for alcohol? I honestly haven't a clue what the test panel is besides the pot, opiates, cocaine usual screens. I probably have an old lab results sheet around somewhere, I can take a look. My testing reason if because of the critically detailed/sensitive nature of the judiciary's employment standards and the systems/agencies we are directly connected with. I totally agree with the testing because of some things I've seen throughout my career. Always be kinder than you feel.

Yikes! Were there layers and you wanted it to be one length? I know I've taken a hit myself that way a while ago. I get my hair colored every 3 weeks, bangs trimmed every 3 weeks and my hair trimmed every other color appointment. It's half way down my back. I'm growing out long layers. I'd be pissed if I was spun around after a blow dry to see 5 inches gone. Could you feel your head getting lighter from losing the hair weight or did you see 5" locks on the floor? Always be kinder than you feel. -
No more teacher's dirty looks. Always be kinder than you feel.

Oh, me too, but I have a tendency to ask Google questions I don't think it'll have an answer to. That's how I found out the guy who likes to have sex with dolphins and a clown porno. And a 4-dimensional rubicks cube simulation and a rotary dialer for android phones. I don't think I've ever actually managed to stump Google. I attribute this entirely to not being creative enough. Or maybe just being afraid that it'll have an answer if I really go out there to the edge. I've never tried to stump Google or ask really off the wall things but NOW I will. Thanks. Always be kinder than you feel.

The kind of luck I've had lately I'd have a poppy seed bagel for breakfast and then get the call to pee in a cup. Always be kinder than you feel.

I wouldn't hang out with a guy who keeps losing at craps. I still have my hair asshole. Not at the table, Carlos. Always be kinder than you feel.

I wouldn't hang out with a guy who keeps losing at craps. I was wondering who was going to bring that up over here. Now Lucky you should be here rolling with me for luck. I was magical at the craps table when I rolled for my ex. Every single time. They'd say "give me 2 5s". Bam... I'd roll 2 5s. Anything they asked for was coming up when I rolled! This went on for an hour. Then... I had to reapply my Blistex and my ex said "noooo!!" as I was putting it on my lips. It would break my routine. Yup, 7 on the next roll. Oops. HTF was I supposed to know? I'm not that superstitious!! I still have no idea how to play. He buys the chips. I only toss.

There's a difference being sued and being criminally charged. I guess you've never been an underage victim of a sexual assault by someone who used the "accidental" contact line with a snicker on their face and a history of using the same method of assault on multiple persons? Thinking their position of "protector" of someone else would make them more credible than a victim(s)? I hope not. Always be kinder than you feel.

And a sexual assault charge would've been "accidently" grabbed upon the security guy if I was one of the protesters. "Accidental" sexual type touching is a huge pet peeve of mine. Always be kinder than you feel.

I think the ensemble with the sleeveless top and skirt is pretty. I wish I was tall enough to pull off that outfit. Always be kinder than you feel.

Maybe the ad has been modified but I don't see where it reads the figures you posted. 5'5" to 6'0" - 7" height range. 150# to 195# - 45# weight range. That's a huge range for a harness. I've seen people of the same height/weight difference as the container that's for sale wearing the same student rig, IIRC. Would that matter? Sort of. Student rigs are notoriously uncomfortable. Big students bitch that they are too small, small students bitch that they are too big. They don't fit very well, but that's the reality of it. Adjustable MLWs help some, but most students just live with it. Big difference for your own rig. Even used, it should fit at least fairly well. It could be argued that this one was made for someone 5'9" and has 4" of 'wiggle room' in it, but I'd be wary. Like Krisanne said, a potential buyer should get their own measurements taken, get the S/N of the rig and ask Mirage what they think. Only way to be sure. And as always, buyer beware. That's pretty much what I was thinking. The student rig I always worse gave me beautiful groin area bruises. When I bought my first rig right before I got my license, it fit like a glove but I did have some padding added to the leg straps, the chest strap lengthened and a FF bungee. I do miss that old Talon. I hope someone does as suggested and calls the manufacturer with the serial # to get the details. I think it's a great looking container IMHO. But then I like camo. If it was pink camo... I'd would've been checking it out for myself if I was still jumping. Always be kinder than you feel.

An interview with the woman who is the victim is posted today on the NY Daily News: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/florida-woman-speaks-lover-cruel-trick-caused-miscarry-article-1.1470500 Interesting background story I didn't remember from other stories I've read with regard to how they met. But obese breasts are usually less perky. I saw this quote somewhere: "Big boobs don't count if you're fat." I asked a boob man (my ex bf) when I saw this and he said it was very true, at least for him. No, my ex bf is NOT Shah. Always be kinder than you feel.
