  1. Jesus clearly said all this would happen sometime during the lifetimes of most of his followers.... it did not. Members of Paul's churches were also concerned as to why it was taking so long for Christ to come back, as some members started dying off of old age and it was unclear what would happen to the dead believers. John was most likely referring to Nero and Rome when speaking of the anti-Christ. Jesus was clearly a no show, time to move on. It's funny how every generation for the past 2000 years have seen all the "signs" during their lifetimes that Jesus is coming "soon" It is funny that Obama has no birth certificate and refuses to be examined to make sure he does not bare the mark of the beast. Clearly this should be cause for concern of every Christian.
  2. How much is a new battery and how long on average should it last?
  3. What type of meat do priest eat on Friday? Nun
  4. The only thing missing is a bone through her nose.
  5. Were you reading the Fox article? It's funny how the articles premise is that no Christians seemed to be offended, only the non Christians were, and you know who's in that group. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/01/20/new-governors-words-dont-upset-alabama/
  6. Saying 'stupid shit" is one thing, claiming that you are detached from a large portion of your state is another. If a person makes the statement " fuck them nigger and "Jew bastards" I don't care if they do apologize, means nothing to me except they were outed and had no choice. I now know exactly where they are coming from. Was he sorry he said it? 100%, does he still believe it? of course he does. Only politicians that know it is in their best interest to apologize ever do. He even had to do the half ass "If I offended anyone" makes it kind of sound like it's the fault of the offended party.
  7. Another bigoted politician, what do you expect coming from the governor of Alabamistan. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41149562/ns/politics-more_politics/
  8. she used the hate word TARGET in the add, wasn't sarah palin told she was the cause of the arizona shooting for words like that? It's nice to see Sarah get a dose of her own meds, of course Sarah was not any more responsible for the shooting in AZ than Obama was responsible for planning to kill your grandparents. Ever notice the thief that gets ripped off himself is always the one most angry. Any chance she had in 2012 she just kissed goodbye.
  9. I don't believe there ever was a documented case of anyone being spat on who was returning home from Vietnam.
  10. Sarah Palin; Champion of free speech. http://tv.gawker.com/5731972/watch-bad-comments-disappear-from-sarah-palins-facebook-page-in-realtime
  11. Where was Boehner? http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2011/01/john-boehner-gabrielle-giffords-skips-arizona-memorial-/1 What a class act.
  12. so you, personally, say here you didn't think this way with Bush. But you didn't get that from others? even here on this site? let alone in the media or just out there? Your note is just another example of "our kooks are rare and we aren't represented by them, but the other guys kooks are clearly the norm for the other party" - c'mon - your statement is exactly the root of the problem I don't see much difference in the commentary in the last 2 years vs the previous 8 except everyone switched sides of the field at halftime. Claiming that only one side of the field has anything to fix while the other side is pristine is just more of the same. Having sitting members of Congress and the senate claim the POTUS is not a US citizen, not a Christian as claimed but is a secretly praticing Muslim, the religion of our enemies, That he wants to kill our elderly, That he "pals around with terrorist", and so on and so forth. Much worse from Limbaugh and Beck. Many on the left said some pretty shitty things about Bush, but not by the Democratic Congress or Senate.
  13. Pretty lame. The right does have intelligent arguments against the left, That was not one of them. True, but then liberals are (collectively) lame cowards...spitting on soldiers returning from Vietnam, for example, and sending hate mail to the families of POWs and KIAs. Never underestimate how vile they can be. They even did it to soldiers coming back from Iraq. Quade called BS on that til I showed it to him. Conservative nutters tend to be individuals: loners as well as cowards. Witness Tim McVeigh, and this chickenshit douchebag who shot defenseless people in Arizona. He's no better than MAJ Hassan. I sincerely hope he gets what's coming to him. However, that does not excuse the cowardly attacks against Palin and the Tea Party; still, I agree with a scumbag WAPO journalist who said that Sarah Palin blew it when it came to spinning this situation. She could have handled it with class and grace, but instead, she sniped back. It could have been handled better, IMO, but it was her decision to make. mh . Neither side has had, or will they ever have a monopoly on kooks. For me, the difference is how some of the leaders of the right (elected or media) refer to the President and other Democratic leaders as Communist, socialist, Nazis, and so on and also proclaiming they hate America and are trying to destroy the country. I may have thought that Bush was a fucktard, but I never thought he was out to ruin the country on purpose. The low level of civility shown to Obama by the right is appalling. To listen to many on the right, if anything tragic ever happened to Obama, the country would be better off for it.
  14. All your doing is clouding the debate with facts.
  15. Pretty lame. The right does have intelligent arguments against the left, That was not one of them.
  16. I thought Obama was great. Was it just me or did it seem that many in attendance thought they were at a prep rally? When The Arizona Governor spoke of the young girl who was killed, many cheered and whistled like they were announcing the starting lineup, They did this through out the whole event. I would think university students would know how to behave at a memorial.
  17. Or perhaps I should have been more specific on what sect of Christianity, or that they do not represent the vast majority of Christians that find this behavior sickening. Don't you just hate it when some people lump the actions of a few extremist in with everyone else. http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/valleyfever/2011/01/westboro_bapstis_church_to_pro.php
  18. Good to see common criminals where they belong.
  19. Try listening to Gifford talk about what Palin was doing to her. Kind of makes one sick to their stomach. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7046bo92a4&feature=player_embedded#!
  20. The left was waiting for this? What a pathetic statement. ? Gifford spoke out about not being comfortable having her district put in cross hairs shortly after Sarah's PAC put the cross hairs on her district. I am still trying to find the video, It has been all over the news. Still waiting your response if you think Sarah will continue with the gun analogies.
  21. The left was waiting for this? What a pathetic statement. You have seen the video of Gifford saying she thought that Palin putting her district in cross hairs was disconcerting to her?
  22. The left was waiting for this? What a pathetic statement. So you don't believe the left will use this for political traction? A big difference in using something as apposed to wanting something to happen. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/dem-pollster-obama-needs-a-terrorist-attack-to-reconnect-with-voters/ Dem Pollster: Obama Needs a Terrorist Attack to Reconnect With Voters
  23. The left was waiting for this? What a pathetic statement. More or less so than doughboyshred's following post and statement? I have funny feeling we have seen the last of Sarah and the rights use of politics and gun analogies. What do you think?
