Nice list, but no.1 is not that bad to teach. Getting big should be the first thing but the "ride the beachball" technique is a good way of getting students to de-arch. This used in conjunction with the "get big" is the most effective slow falling technique. You probably have more experience than I do but I totally disagree with yuor statement. The "Beach ball ride" is a horrible way to teach dearching. jmho Usiny ones hips, head, and rest of the body properly is the way to teach descent rate changes. Any of them that thought outsourcing or offshoring was a cost effective idea. Bank of America comes to mind as they spent millions to offshore and then millions to bring it all back. Those decisions were not made by accountants. They were made by CEO's, presidents, vice-presidents, board members, etc. Accountants only give them numbers to go by. It is up to those in charge to decide what to do with those numbers. Why don't you just admit that: 1. You couldn't handle college 2. You didn't know you were wrong when you thought you knew more than the profs. 3. You are bitter because of 1 & 2 and therefore are trying to persuade others that college is a waste of time. I'm just wondering when you will take your ball and go home because we won't let you make up the rules. Your talk of the ball is ironic, cuz that's definitely not what you're playing right now. Never did I say anything about wanting to make up the rules. My only interest is pointing out flaws/holes in the current system so we as a sociaty can address them and make things more consistent for all so we can then make things better for all. By ensuring equal treatment for all and respecting the thoughts/opinions of others, we can advance further as a society. Let peoples thoughts/opinions stand on their own, not just whom they're from. Sometimes, they may not be right but the opportunity can be taken to show them why they aren't right. Sometimes really educated people think/say ignorant things, sometimes people with real world experience experience understand way more than those with only a degree. Regardless of their education/experience, their thoughts/opinions should be able to stand on their own.

.3 Wow..... I do not have a single one of these problems? As far as the contrast..... I think it is really easy to read in freefall. My audibles beep as my Altitron displays 1000 ft (+/- 20 ft) which is pretty damn acurate considering how crude altimeters as a whole are. It just goes to show you.... take a crap product and you will always be able to find someone happy, find a great product and you will always be able to find someone unhappy. I love it! Smaller aircraft but good people! I have some friends over at Start of course but I have been jumping with this DZ since I started. You would love both but you should stick with the same DZ throughout your jump training. Once you are licensed if you wanna stop on by feel free.

Ok..... so what everyone else said is great advice but I have an Altitron and it is my primary altimeter. The fact is that I love it! It is very easy to read and has been very reliable. I have used it for a year and a half now. I like my altimeter on the underside of my wrist while freeflying (just a preference) so it works out well for this. yes. I figure he didn't want the job anymore and to quietly retire wouldn't make him any publicity for his speaking engagements. The guy is more left than right on politics so a Fox News guy? I don't think so. I think with McChrystal gone and General P in charge Obama has some more problems bc he is all about offense and I doubt the rules of engagement set forth by the adminsitration will sit well with General P. I think McChrystal knew exactly what he was doing. I, for one, do not believe for a minute that McChrystal deliberately orchestrated the public self-sabotage of his his stellar military career for the purpose of his own financial gain. And I think the onus is on you to make a clear persuasive case that he did, not on me to make out a case that he did not. Ask yourself this though..... why would a very intelligent general that specializes in strategy let a Rolling Stones reporter which anyone would know would be out to get the military or its leadership in any way get so close not once but twice? You can think all of those countries are better but I bet my bank account that if you needed heart surgery you would be working with a US doctor and not only bc you live here bc a hell of a lot of people from those countries that are so "great" come here for treatment.
