This is what I HATE about the "coach" rating. No talent, 100 jumps, got the rating... Screw the newbies!!!!! Free jumps!!!! The coach I/E in this area will not rubber stamp a rating! If you are a no talent 100 jump wonder you will not get a rating if you lack the skills. It is the same at my DZ. I earned mine... probably more so then some T/I's that I have heard about. Where's the fence smashin' video? You've got me on that one, I don't remember hitting a fence? I did hit a golf cart once, after hitting the ground kind of hard... Is Doc serious? He has that few of jumps and is jumping that canopy? What DZ is he at that is letting him do that? I know if he has his A or above he can do what he wants but I do not know any DZO or S&TA that would let that go. no, I know that, but you did 'generalize' that anger was coming from the atheists and not from the Christians.....I do not see it that way I was generalizing but I do see the anger. I do get it as I think there has been a lot of hate and horrible acts from those who call themselves Christians..... historically and now. I just cannot see someone who is an atheist talk to me the way some of these posts read. I cannot see anyone talk this way. I know it is the internet so I could be misreading or people have more moxie when talking on the web but I just hate it. I am just commenting on some of the remarks and how seething they seem to be that's all. As for RodD..... yes I know which is why I stated what I did about "christians" showing or acting on hate. I know that is hate and I do not like it either. Like I said nothing good can come from it. Believing in God or not let's take the stance just for a second that He is real. What Jesus taught is not what RodD or anyone else acting on or teaching hate is aligned with. Let's just say Jesus was just a good guy that said some great stuff that we can do to be good people. After reading all of this I find it ironic how many who do not believe in God say the Christians are crazy and full of hate etc yet most of the hate in this thread comes from those who do not believe in God. I have no issue with those of you who do not have faith in a higher power but such a strong hate for it is crazy. Hate is bad no matter what. Nothing good can come from it. Yes I know Christians have committed acts of hate so no point in bringing that up. I am not saying it never happened just saying that the negative emotion towards all of this is really not good. Whatever you do just stick with one place to finish your training. If you jump at SWC ... finish your training there and if you go to Start then stay consistent there. When are you coming to SWC (Warren County)? I am an instructor there. I am happy you are coming to SWC but SGC is a great DZ as well. After all this is the city that booed Santa Claus (to be truthful, it was because Santa Claus was drunk, though). Yea, me too.
