  1. This was posted on the skysurfer forum (australia skydiving forum) http://www.skysurfer.com.au/forums/topic/9510-stolen-rig-from-karnage-krew/ Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  2. No demo rigs to be seen in the shop. Really the shop only contains a bunch of skydiving t-shirts a few odd shaped jumpsuits and not much else. I have heard that people have contacted manufacturers and have been told that they haven't recieved thier order and that they were't taking any new orders as KK still owes them money for gear that has been shipped. 3. Shop was having a big sale today, looked like they were trying to clear out all the inventory. Feel pretty bad for Liam, poor kids just trying to make money to jump and his rig ends up getting stolen just because he is working in the shop. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  4. This one is a much better deal http://cgi.ebay.com/complete-skydiving-rig-main-reserve-and-harness_W0QQitemZ120689204822QQcategoryZ106980QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m8QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DMW%26its%3DC%26itu%3DUCC%26otn%3D5%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D7369346356358002927#ht_500wt_1156 Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  5. I wouldn't be complaining if it got to that price. Would just mean that there would be a shit load of work for people in the oil industry and wages would be really really good. Bring it on! Vader needs a second rig and money for jump tickets Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  6. Is a criminal record still required to get into Australia? No, but it helps. They let me in Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  7. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer directly to report the issue with their dealer? Providing this person is an authorized dealer. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  9. I jumped at around 20 different DZ's last year. I found the more I travelled around the more fun skydiving became. I made more friends, i went to more boogies, competitions and events. I found travelling to different dropzones opened up more opportunities. If you just stay at one dropzone you might not hear about the helicopter jumps happening down the road next weekend, or the canopy course next month and in turn you get to help spread the word about your home dropzone or other places you enjoy jumping. I joined a 4way league here in australia and they do 4 rounds, at a different DZ every month. I think this is a great way to get people out to experience competition and other dropzones and meet many new friends. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  12. What was the previous reason? Bourbon was on sale and if you have enough burboun you done need pants. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  15. Go buy a bottle of bourbon, take said bottl eover to your local rigger and hang out with him while he works, watch what they do, ask them questions, practise packing while they watch. After thats done share the bottle of bourbon :) its a great way to learn Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  16. It is a HUGE pain in the ass have to deal with both metric and imperial. I often get a number of engineered drawings for smaller modules that come together to build one final product. These drawings can be measured in either system depending on if they were done in Canada or America. It really sucks when your trying to figure out a running dimension using series of drawing done in both imoerial and metric. I find metric alot easier to use in the field. Adding and subtracting fractions of an inch, having to convert to decimals and then back, multiplying and dividing by 12 to figure out how many feet this thing is, is a real pain in the ass when I could just work in MM Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  17. I don't know if it true or not, but it is going to be my excuse for drinking large amounts of bourbon and stumbling around not wearing any pants for the next year. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  18. While making the one armed getaway... thinking to yourself... Did I pull out in time Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  19. I have a freezer. It makes ice too. No vacuum chamber required. Although now that I have read this I could see myself half way thru a bottle of bourbon, having just run out of ice, getting a bowl of water and a vacuum cleaner. Loudly procaiming "don't worry, I read about this on DZ.com, I know what I'm doing" Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  20. Well centigrade still works if you look at the origin of the word. Centi - 100, grade - scale = scale of 100. there is a scale of 100 units at which water remains in a liquid form. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  21. Actually, it doesn't. In fact, there is a certain temperature and pressure at which the three states; ice, water and vapor exist simultaneously. Move either pressure or temperature just a tiny fraction of a degree (any degree you want to use really) and it definitively becomes one of the three states, but at that temperature and pressure it would be impossible to say. This is called the triple point. If I was designing a universal standard, I might consider using the triple point of water as one datum point, but then . . . what makes water so special? (As you may have guessed, this IS one of my favorite ultra-geek topics because it makes people's heads explode.) I'll stick to my universal standard. If the water is frozen - It's fucking cold If the water is boiling - It's fucking hot Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  22. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the melting point of ice remains constant regardless. My point is that this unit of measure is not arbitrary. It was developed based on the freezing and boiling point of water, so be it at MSL. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  23. Thats easy, This time of year water in Denver doesn't boil. Thats because, as you can see on my tempature scale, Denver is fucking cold! Therefor water in Denver is ice. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  24. I find the following temperature scale works just fine Fucking cold Cold Warm Hot Fucking hot Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  25. I thought Celcius was based on the frezzing and boiling point of water. 0 and 100 or is that just a coincidence? Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
