I was having an argument at work with a guy who said that men are the same women for the number of sexual partners they have. We both agree that it takes two to tango, however our disagreement was that he thought that most women had a proportinal number of partner to men. Example, women are jus the same as men 50/50. wheras I believe a small percentage of men have a very high number of partners whereas women generally have an average number of partner. Example, 20% of men are sleeping with 80% of the women. Myself I fall somewhere on option 4. However I have been single most of my life, never had an ongoing relationship lasting more than 6 months, travel alot, work away alot blah blah. I have met a couple of women who have told me they have had more partners than me (150-250). most Fall into the second option(25-50), followed closely by the first option (1-25) Just curious as to what the reality is. Also I'm sure age play a factor here but I don't really care to make that complex of a poll. Guys please dont vote, i think this could be interesting. if you can find a rig that will allow you to downsize to smaller canopies after the 70 then I would say go for it. I bought my first rig when I had around 30 jumps. I bought a complete rig for $3000. It had a 190 main and I did about 100 jumps on that before I downsized to a 170. I then sold the 190 The money you are paying for gear rental everytime you jump is money you will never get back. If I had done another 100 jumps on rental gear because I waiting to be able to jump a smaller canopy it would have cost me around $2000 in gear hire. I recently jumped a Xfire2 170 loaded at 1:1.1 Playing with it up high I found the riser pressure was very, very high. Was almost immpossible to hold onto the riser after about 90. Not having dive loops probly didn't help. If you dont believe that this is a bad canopy to learn to swoop at that loading why don't you go take it for a test jump. Open high and practise doing some front riser turns with it. Then go jump a Sabre 2 of the same size or compare it to the one your jumping now. or maybe I could jump at the dropzone with the best airlift around but they stop jumping at noon because the tandoms are done for the day and they dont give a fuck about the fun jumpers... Fun jumpers are fun jumpers, I dont care where they jump. It's the greedy DZO's that are fucking things up. oh and by the way, some guys have base jumped the one we built in alberta. Still surprised I haven't gotten any phone calls regarding that.
