    it is really sad to see how many of you say yes to this. While my family is not perfect they are still the best thing in my life. We may not be close emotionally, financially or physically. I know they are always there, even if it's only to offer kind words of support. You get to chose you own level of involvement. You cant financialy support the family member with a criminal drug habbit, however you should be there to give them a hug when they come out of rehab.     I do them all the time for out of town work. Taking notes, and having notes is a the best advice I can give. Write down questions you want to ask about the job, write down things you want to emphasize about yourself. Have a copy of your resume with you as well. Think of it as an open book test.
