Kids, cant kill them, cant leave them at the supermarket
skittles_of_SDC replied to galvar2439's topic in The Bonfire
If you as the mom look as good as you do... You going to Summerfest? Can you? Go ahead and bring the 19 and 17 year old daughters too. -
Do extremely religious people piss you off?

I was told by my best friend and a very good friend that because I do not necessarily believe in the god they both know and love I'm going to hell. -

There is no doubt in my mind that part of the problem is with me. I will admit that having a low tolerance for the people that think they are all high and mighty is a problem on my end. You can swear up a storm at me and call me what you want and I can usually tolerate it and ignore it. Yet when someone gets up on their high horse and calls me a bad person because I don't have the same beliefs as them, or that mine are wrong, it doesn't take much at all for me to snap. -
I was really tired when I watched it. So I heard it wrong.

I've seen that many times. I pointed it out to my mom once. She didn't believe they actually said nut sack in the commercial.

Daughters? Summerfest? summerfest + 19 year old daughter or summerfest - 19 year old daughter? *can feel himself getting beaten up already* -

I can't help it. I just can't stand really religious people who try to push their views on me. You know, the people that have some remark that has to do with god or jesus or something from the bible for everything you talk about. Probably why I stopped going to church... after my parents stopped forcing me to go. To be fair I have certain scraps of religion still left in my brain though. IMHO, religion is for people who can't think for themselves and need to be told what to do and how to do it. Mindless cattle basically. EDIT: BTW, this didn't just come out of nowhere, the abortion thread made me think about it. -
Noob to the sport and forum
skittles_of_SDC replied to Hunt_Joshua_G's topic in Introductions and Greets
Welcome to the fourms and congratulations on the first jump. You'll love this sport. Since you work on windmills, once you have 200 jumps you can BASE down off of them if you don't wanna climb down. Screw OSHA regs. -
We're friendly people. Especially me. Don't worry about it, I'm not that forward on the DZ. They give you, and require you to wear, one. So I'd really suggest some Under Armour or something of the sort. Personally when I'm in my jumpsuit I wear compression shorts and a compression shirt with just my jumpsuit over them. It also gives me a reason to strip in the hangar when I'm switching between the suit and my freefly pants or my shorts. The ladies seem to like seeing me in my tight clothes. Sounds like you already know me, and my history. How'd you hear about that night? Is the story making its rounds to the tandem crowd now?

Welcome. You'll LOVE AFP at SDC. It's just amazing. All the instructors are great instructors and great guys. Massive amounts of water are essential, especially with the weather the way it has been. You can go the bottle route but it would probably be more convenient to get gallon jugs. You can get food there during the day, but you'll probably want some snacks in case you get hungry late at night and don't feel like driving anywhere to get food. ALCOHOL, outrageous amounts of alcohol. Don Julio will make you real popular with the instructors real quick. As far as what to wear, if you have Under Armour or similar moisture wicking clothing, that stuff is REAL nice to wear under a jumpsuit on a hot day. Other than that just normal t-shirts and shorts/skirts. Don't forget your swimsuit for the pond either. Doubt you'll need pick up lines. If all else fails come find me. Hope to see you out there. I'll be the guy everyone is calling skittles.

Like red said, AFF is all about sticking with it. I had to do level 2 3 times and I almost quit. Luckily my instructor made me promise to come back the next day and try again. I'm glad he did because I'm having so much fun up there. Again like red said gear is expensive. One other thought that came to mind is you said you are 270 which means for AFF you would need a 310. Unless the DZ is ok with you having a 1.1 wing loading (assuming the biggest canopy they have is a 260) you might be required to buy your own gear to even do AFF. Now take all this with a grain of salt. I don't own, manage, or even work at a DZ but I have heard of bigger people being required to buy their own gear.

No. But you do have to add one of me.

Breast Implants = No Skydiving

Well if no one else is gonna ask it I'll ask what everyone is thinking. Were they nice and was she hot? -
Btw, what have you done for the sport? I'm not gonna say you haven't done anything because I don't know that you didn't. But I'd like to hear what you have done for the sport.

Is that respect tempered any by the fact that he was an illegal drug runner and did felony prison time? Seriously, dude you might wanna watch what you say around here. I didn't know the man, but there are plenty of people here who did that might take a lot of offense to that statement.

You do realize that you can get a number of different graphics cards for Macs right? I love people like you who rip on Macs for no reason and with completely invalid complaints. Oh yeah and the graphics cards must suck, you know seeing as how a majority of the graphic design industry uses apple computers, not to mention a good number of photographers, special effects houses, and even hollywood movies. No they gotta suck.

Are you all a bunch of depraved sex maniacs???
skittles_of_SDC replied to Shotgun's topic in The Bonfire
How do you even go about breaking smileys. LMAO. -
Good, but you show you have no sensation by grabbing her boobs and not reacting... It makes it more convincing.
-
WTF do I know. I am a man who, two weeks into my first adventure with a computer accidently formatted the hard drive. But I agree...the Mac is the answer. That was part of the "Think, man! Think" comment. Vista sucks. Thats what I though when I posted it. But I had to state it explicitly because, lets be honest, most people probably think vista and xp are the only 2 operating systems out there.

in a good way...

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, its so cute.

like they said. there is no dollar missing. the math just makes it look like its missing.

LOL! I'd have to be VERY liquored up to play show and tell(....pssst I like Amaretto Sours)Now show and feel is another story. Speaking of feel,I was packing for LP (yes I'm so excited I'm already packing) and my mom decided to bring in some stuff I'd bought at the store for the trip...sunscreen and the like.Well it just so happens condoms were on my list of "need" things for the boogie and she saw them and was like "aahhh.TMI TMI TMI!!!" hehehe! I was like "well you're the one who decided to help me and wouldnt you rather me be a safety girl than not protect myself?"Ofcourse she wants me to protect myself with a gun and a chastity belt. But the look on her face...priceless!That gets her back for all the times I've found used condom wrappers in their bedroom floor! You guys are making me wish Summerfest wasn't at the same time as LP. 'I have no sensation in my hands. can i use my tongue to feel?'
-
but who can blame him really...
-
ok then, to clarify my post.... fuck windows media player and fuck vista too. its a sorry ass media player on a sorry ass operating system. I completely agree. see my first post where I recommend buying a Mac as the solution. I wasn't trying to sound like an ass I'm just pointing out he said the video plays fine.
