    Ok...

well then i got nothing. sorry.
  2. well, yeah. As Icon said the commentators told everyone before the footprints even started that they were CGI.

    Ok...

It's possible to set gmail up with an email program. If you haven't already I would recommend doing that. that way even if you cant access it through the web page you should still get them through your mail program. personally i use apple mail but if you are using windows i would recommend mozilla thunderbird.
  4. probably repeating someone here but i kinda determined that for me personally the reason the thought of falling out freaks me out is because you don't control that. when it comes time to jump you are in complete control but if you fall out you dont have a choice. maybe you like to be in control of the situation and dont like the thought of not being able to?
  5. haha, i always used to be afraid. I'm ok with it now. i still worry a little but not anything like i did that first time. the first time I had my seat belt on, hand on the door frame, and helmet on until they closed the door at 5 grand=4000 worth of pure fear of falling out.
  6. Really!? Fingers.? Thats what you're gonna go with? Okay.
  7. Thanks for trying to defend me. Btw I decided today while i was talking to keith that you, troy and I are going to start a temporary team. team busted ankle. I know I didn't get mine skydiving but still.
  8. The Dytter? Thats how I interpreted it. I almost did set my solo for landing. But I decided i'd rather live to jump another day. btw dragon i only had about 60 some jumps at the time.
  9. If you took my comment as an insult that is not how I meant it at all. I'm just saying your dream sounds kinda like movies I've seen. Happens to me all the time, I'll watch movies with lots of shooting and then I'm a hitman in the dream that night. Did you, by chance, watch Equilibrium before going to sleep that night?
  10. parts of that sound similar to movies i've seen.
  11. nope. IMO, thats just stupid. I mean I could probably do a pattern without an alti but it wouldn't be at 1000, 750 and 250. It might be within a hundred feet or so of those numbers but I'd rather stick with the altimeter for now.
  12. The same week I ended up riding the plane down because I forgot to turn on my altitrack till like 9 grand. Some people tried to convince me to jump anyway and just do some mid-air math when it came to my landing pattern. Before starting the descent the pilots (casa) kinda looked at me like 'why the fuck is he still here?' edited for spelling.
  13. ok im sorry. kids may play them but that doesn't change the fact they aren't real sports.
  14. I am awesome. Hoping to get out to the DZ this weekend but I'm going to a baseball game tomorrow and I always get so into the olympics idk if I'll be jumping this weekend. You?
  15. another thing. whats with all these worthless events? i know you have to start young to be good at real events like swimming and tennis and all that stuff. but presumeably i could get into the olympics by taking up badminton or table tennis or kayaking. I have to imagine those aren't events that kids start playing at a young age.it would be cool to be in the 2016 olympics if Chicago wins the bid.
  16. has anyone else realized how hot a lot of these Olympic athletes are? Who would have ever guessed fencers could be hot? Womens volleyball starts today, too.
  17. I don't know about where you guys jump but there is no fun allowed on the plane where I jump. In fact we actually had the discussion on one of the loads. The second you enter the airplane its serious time, no more fun till you get down.
  18. def. I was gonna buy a new mountain bike... then i took up skydiving. Now I don't have money for a bike and can barely afford my skydiving habit. I'm actually kinda jealous of you...assuming you go.
  19. Not your fault. You don't have 1.5 billion people to help you.
  20. sounds like something straight out of a Saw movie.
  21. hell yeah. you know I tivo'd that shit.
  22. No, its normal to nick your sack like once or twice a year while shaving or trimming. but it is def not normal to get your sack nicked by a cat shortly after burning your junk with a soldering iron. ROTFLMAO. I was not able to type your situations without laughing hysterically. Sorry.
  23. the lighting of the torch was also amazing. first the guy 'running' around the top of the stadium and then the way the flame just shot up to the top of the torch.
  24. you missed the best part. the drums at the beginning. these opening ceremonies are awe inspiring.
