I don't think anything accidently gets blown. That's not true. She thought I was someone else. Therefore I was accidentally blown.

Skydive Chicago First Jump

I've done some *whisper* wingsuit jumps *whisper*. In that case you get out after tandems. Not to mention that every tandem video plays on a screen after they are done editing it. -
Skydive Chicago First Jump

Maybe. I've never seen them do it before. Not even once. That's not to say they won't. Like others have said you'll have to ask your instructor (the one gearing you up, not the one teaching class). -
Cottage in WI sounds lovely! We'll be there in the fall for Grandma's 100th g It's very lovely. I love it up there... just not when the water is 10-20 degrees colder than the air.

Idk, I'm torn on what to do. I've been pretty sick for the last few days and just started feeling better today so either idea sounds pretty bad as of right now but I still wanna do both. I'm either going to my family's cottage in Wi, although the water would be super cold, or going out to the DZ. Which I will do kinda depends on my BFF. I don't get to see her much at all cause she goes to school in MI so if she is gonna head out to the DZ I'll definately do that otherwise WI it is.

Have you ever been so sick you wanted to die?
skittles_of_SDC replied to skittles_of_SDC's topic in The Bonfire
Ahh, the death wishes are over. Throat is still a little sore but at least the worst part, the fever, is over. I averaged 102 degrees Tues and Wed and maxed out at 104.4 on Tues. No matter how bad the throat and the head are the fevers are the worst. You feel like you're burning up from the inside. -

I voted for 20 years. But I changed my mind. 24 years is ok if she's still hot. I'd say for younger than me no more than 4 years. Only because thats the age of consent here in IL.

Name that Rack!! (The NEW DZ.com Game) Part 2
skittles_of_SDC replied to Thanatos340's topic in The Bonfire
Dude, give it a rest. You really don't know when to shut up do you? Seriously. I'm trying to be nice but you're making it hard. One comment then I'm gonna let it die so the thread doesn't get back off topic. So basically every girl in here is lying to herself? Are you all denying that age and gravity don't do horrible, awful things to breasts? -

Jerry, I'm not gonna get into the argument, even though I do love my Mac. I use Mac Pro's in my design classes and have my Macbook Pro for the rest of my classes and at home. The main thing though is I just wanted you to know. If you happen to be lucky enough to be near an Apple store they do classes in the store. One of them is for people switching from PC's to Mac's. Hope that helps.

I think the going rate was like $10k last time I heard. That was according to NBC News and that was almost a year ago I believe. Don't know what they pay now.

Skydiving Tattoo. When should a person be allowed to have one?
skittles_of_SDC replied to Pegandmeg's topic in The Bonfire
I think you should at least wait until after you get your A. Although thats partially because after I got my first tattoo just to have a tattoo (even though I sill like it) I decided that the rest of them were going to mean something to me. I have almost 200 jumps now and plan to get one when I have the money. If I had the money I would have gotten one right away. The way I look at it even if I were to quit at the end of this year for some reason, skydiving was such a HUGE part of my life last year that the tattoo would always be important to me. -
haha. Thanks for the advice. And no I don't have any of those things...except for the homework... but I won't do it even if I stay home. btw, when did they start letting you leave the wingsuit forum?

skittles_of_SDC replied to virgin-burner's topic in The Bonfire
yes...he is currently up here harassing us......but we kind of like him --- No shit? Tell him "Hi" for me and hope he sticks around for the boogie. Hey, Virgin-B, stay away from my house. Valinda's not even home, yeah, that's it. Hey at least if he stays east of the Mississippi River... we are all safe. so, what you're saying is, i should skip summerfest and come to LP!? Yup, that's exactly what they are saying. Please for the love of god skip Summerfest. -
even though it's supposed to be crappy weather all weekend? I'm conflicted right now.

Arrrr Mates spy thar news facebook varrrrsion
skittles_of_SDC replied to Hausse's topic in The Bonfire
Yeah, not that great. Sorry. Google did that YEARS ago. Granted there is very little text but still. It's kinda lame cause FB basically just ripped off google's idea. Google also has Elmer Fudd. -
Why would that be? Humidity? Pollen? Dust? If it's the humidity, which I know affected me in the past, up here in the summer we get 98 degree days and 90% humidity pushing the heat index up to like 102 and I haven't have a problem lately. So I'd be used to that. And I know it isn't the area you are talking about but I also lived in AZ for a year and didn't have a problem with my asthma out there. Hopefully it would be the same in the south east. As far as MOS I'm looking at infantryman. It's one of the few things I think I'd actually enjoy doing. Like I said, it is my personal observation... My wife has asthma. She's a Connecticut girl and didn't have that before she moved south. Same thing with a few other northerners who live down here now. No, not all of the transplanted northerners that I know have asthma though. Hope you pass the test though. I wasn't calling you a liar or saying you were wrong. I was merely asking you if you knew why people have a problem. I assume it has something to do with weather. Heat, humidity, pollen or dust in the air, etc.
