    that's awesome! I remember counting back from 10, then waking up and starting again at 3. Then I told the nurse I can swallow a pint of blood before it makes me sick, which i had just learned in physiology. My family loves me enough to have had a video camera waiting for me when i arrived home. So we have footage of my family poking fun at me while I'm looped out of my mind. gotta love em! That reminds me, one of the only clean shirts I had was my "Warning: If I wake up with marker on my face I'LL STAB YOU" t-shirt so I wore that. The staff loved it and even took a picture of it because one employee was out sick but in the past she has drawn on friends who were under.

    2 impacted. I got propofol to knock me out. Last thing I remember is getting a steriod and getting itchy then telling the doctor my ABC was itchy then having to explain what an ABC or Taint is.

    When I say mock up I mean completely graphical done in Illustrator with notations on how I would like the website to function.

    There is a lot of information in here as well as varying opinions I have to sort through. I'm not even sure my idea is viable. I actually finished the mock up finally. If anybody would be willing to take a look at the mockup and my explanation of how I want the site to act I would appreciate your opinion.

    HTML is no problem. I have been coding with HTML for years. Not a lot of experience with GET and POST though. I guess I'll start playing with them before I try to move up to php. Thanks for the further suggestions.

    You are correct on all the features you mentioned. I need users to be able to upload the pics and video and display them like you mention. I definately need logins/profiles, the comment system I want though is less like youtube's one box and more like Facebook's multi-box system that can all be edited with one click. I would want the rating system to rate the individual comment in the box rather than rate the whole thing. I feel like I should almost write up a brief for all of you.

    Cool. Thank you very much. Based on what I am competent enough to gather from the source code you are correct. And all that means is it lists a url with ajax as one of the folders.

    Thanks for the tip. You don't know by chance what server technologies facebook uses do you? I like the idea of having fields as easily editable as theirs simply by clicking an icon rather than submitting a form.

    Sorry I haven't been back in a few days. I tried one of those once. Didn't go so well. I decided to learn php and mysql. I have a book on it from a couple years ago that I never read. The problem now is I have no idea how the stuff I'm learning can be turned into what I want.

    Nevermind about the embedding a website. I got the idea from the website template sites but then realized they were all flash. So the site wasn't embedded just the flash video that makes up the website.

    I want to build a website but I only know the design aspect of it. I am completely clueless when it comes to server side technologies. I want people to be able to upload videos and pictures and possibly embed a website. Is there anyone out there that could tell me which server technologies I should be looking at learning to do this?
