ok, so I was at the bar tonight, and this guy who I had seen there before was there. We had not gotten along so well the first time, but he came up tonight and apologized for that. Anyway, he was flirting all night (and has a girlfriend) and then sits down and tells me how into me he is, and how there is a connection he cannot ignore between us. This anti-his girlfriend stuff went on for a while. Then, later, he asks if he can take me home with him. Seeing how it has already been cleared that neither of us were driving, I assumed he meant " take me to his home" I said no, he has a girlfriend. Then, a few minutes later, he asked again. Again, I said no. Then, about twenty minutes later he started saying how I was being irrational that I wouldn't let him take me home because he meant "take me to my home"------he wasn't driving. Was this just a cover up or do you think he really did want to just give me a ride (even though he was not driving and did not know who was)? I am quite perplexed by this(especially since he has a gf). help? The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP.

I have dreams of thinking I was at correct altitude to pull, but I looked at my altimeter and I was fine. The ground kept getting closer and closer. I guess I would relate it to the point where you know to flare (grass blades), and then I wake up. wierd. Then there is the dreams of where I have no rig on. I use my arms as a parachute. seems to work quite well, but, I don't think I will be tryin it any time soo.

#1 I would have been on about my 10th jump when I was like...holy shit. My eyes have been closed this whole time!(that is from jump 1-10). #2 (As my goggles were flying off my face & it is 15degrees) HOly SHit! I am going to loose my contacts! I see it a bit at my dz. This more experienced jumper offered to jump with me, I thought it was a nice gesture. Then, one of the dz owners told me... ya know mary, he is a nice guy, but watch out, he's lookin' for a wife. agagh! I still feel the age difference. He was about 40--I am 21. i got my neuman (spelling??) gloves from mc sports, and they were only $30. They work great. I can't imagine how I would have made some of the jumps I have without those gloves, my hands would have fallen off. when I was on student statues, I couldn't wear gloves and one time my hands almost completely numb at pull. hmmm.. I would have to say that a dz date would be bad aaaaass, but if he doesn't jump (heaven forbid), anything original (dinner and a movie not included). i agree with you there. I see no point in that. After a day of jumping, my makeup--- wait, there is no makeup left, oh, and my hair? I keep it in two braids, but even those manage to frizz out beyond belief. I actually love it. I shows I have had a productive day at the dz. sigh. if only more guys were like you. But, unfortunately, they are not. There are a good majority of guys who base initial interest on appearance. I have gotten to the point where --yah, I put on a little makeup, but if I don't have any on, It really doesn't matter. speaking of spanish.... I am back from the trecherouse exam. It was friggin 10 pages!! Hell on earth. Afterward, I popped in tom petty and bellowed out to all the songs I love--I am now feeling like a 200 lb weight has been lifted off my shoulders. ONly one more exam to go!!
