  1. I find it more odd and disturbing to kill a 20 week old baby and then flush it down the drain and pretend it didn't exist simply because it wasn't convenient to let the baby live.
  2. Really? Is that why off budget expenditures were less than off budget revenues? Probably of more use than paying lawyers.
  3. Yeah. You know, the world is much more than just allies and enemies, John. Which do you think is more productive: debating over which policies are good and which are bad, or posturing over which side are the biggest assholes? OK, let's see how this suggestion flies: Those that despair of the level of debate should set their own example to raise it. I don't think either is productive.
  4. You guys think you're so smart Wendy P. It's due to their Insight C'mon, people...Focus!! Or you will fall over the Edge

  6. In a general election, it's somehow a burden for the same people that need ID to get a job, cash checks, get utilities, etc etc etc to have a form of ID to vote? Do you need I.D. to cash government checks?
  7. Regardless of Gingrichs past moral and ethical issues, there's no denying he has a history of getting things done. I know you remember the battles with Clinton during the 80's and finally dragging the Dems into a balanced budget for the first time in nearly 40 years. Sometime the devil you know is better than the one you don't know.
  8. Santorum is an ass and there's no way he's going to be President let alone win the primaries. This race is really between Romney and Gingrich and once the 2nd tier candidates all drop out, it will come down to a choice between the two of them.
  9. to some extent - mostly it's just kinda creepy Why do you hate Santa Claus?
  10. I think that the mental and cultural issues involved to justify an honor killing are more significant than the fact that he wore a Santa Suit. I also question why you choose to ignore that fact in favor of the Santa Suit.
  11. Sorry, I'm not getting banned over this.
  12. I'll take your word for it. I never got past this little gem of sophisticated journalism.:
  13. You have a serious problem if you confuse the mental state of someone with a technical legal violation with that of someone who dresses up as Santa Claus and then shoots dead six members of his own family at Christmas. And don't forget he was a Muslim in a Santa Suit and that this was an Honor Killing. That's at least as important as the fact he was wearing a Santa Suit in this situation.
  14. What part of "humour is hard to pull off in a foreign language" don't you understand, I start with blaming my own short-comings as far as the English language is concerned. And your lack of humour is rather obvious. I do understand it's difficult to communicate in another language and I noted that. My only issue was that after you made that statement, you went on to blame me and my sense of humor for not understanding. So you are wrong on both counts. Care to try again?
  15. Whatever floats your boat. I'm happy you enjoy this kind of gutter journalism.
  16. You are in desperate need of a blow job. Thanks for the offer but I'm not into guys.
  17. Actually, it was more of a humorous attempt to point out that making a distinction between left-wing science and right-wing science is moronic. Unfortunately humour is kinda hard to pull of in a foreign language. Well, and your apparent lack of humour probably doesn't help either. Right, blame the reader when the issue is your admitted inability to communicate properly is the real issue. More left-wing self victimization. Who would have expected anything less.
  18. What garbage? It was an interesting article regarding how modern information indexing is persistent. I suspect if it had focused on Obama's Kenyan Muslim problem instead of Santorum's anal discharge problem you wouldn't consider it garbage. Well, as usual, you would be very wrong. Please find a single post where I accuse obama of being a Muslim. And while you are at it, find one where I say he wasn't born in the U.S. since that's included in the preconceptions you constantly display about people you disagree with.
  19. You have to really, really want elective office to put yourself out there for so much personal abuse. I mean that across the board. That's why, out of disgust, I eventually came to realize I'd lost most of my interest the election side of politics: it's all about fucking the other guy. Right up the ass. I agree with you Andy, running for elective office today does subject people to this type of gutter level ridicule. Of course it's done for the shock value which some people apparently thrive on. That doesn't make it any less offensive. There are reports that Obama is gay. Although less graphic than this trite, that I found offensive as well. I do try and remind myself, not always successfully, but try nevertheless, that however I much I may disagree with someone's politics, that they are still a real person, with a family and friends that love and care about them. I'm pretty sure many I disagree with politically would prove to be very interesting people to sit and chat with over my favorite beverage.
  20. I don't know which is sadder. That people write this kind of garbage or that people read it.
  21. Agreed, you could also split lanes if it's legal in your State.
  22. I wish I had one mounted on my handlebars sometimes. Maybe a few handgrenades too. Some of the old timers used to carry a small ball-peen hammer with them and when a car got too close or cut them off, they put a little ding in the car.
  23. For someone who doesn't even ride a motorcycle, let alone a HD you sure seem to know a lot about how hot they run. Could you even concede that perhaps, just maybe, after sitting in rush hour traffic for long periods of time on a very hot day that it just may be possible for an air-cooled 1400-1800 cc engine to over-heat occasionally?
  24. thought it is not the first time we the US have worked with ruthless dictators, note attached; http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB82/handshake300.jpg The question is simple, WTF are you talking about! The Revolutionary Forces own Iran, Syria and southern Lebanon. And I'm not talking in the mafia sense I'm talking they OWN every freaking thing from the rail road's to the means of production. So WTF would they want from you? How can you help them out? I mean really...boiled carrot....no joke...don't feel bad..it's ok not many people know where Iran is let alone how big the country is. By Revolutionary Forces, I mean those who would seek to overthrow the existing Govt. I thought my meaning was fairly obvious.
