    Uhm no. Are you still sure that if a victim is armed they would not become a victim? And since an armed society is a polite society. How come Americans aren't know for being polite around the world? We could have a major reduction in gun violence by just simply outlawing gangs. That would be much more effective than outlawing guns. Then the gangs would just have to disband since they could no longer commit crimes.

    I said "more effective", not "not effective". You either can't read or your prolonged employment as a mercenary outside of the country is effecting your language skills. Killing a half-million people in three months demonstrates a pretty good level of effectiveness, I would think - got something to beat that? Penis's are responsible for many deaths every year also. Perhaps we should register all penis's. That way if someone gets a disease like AIDS and dies, we can charge the nutter with a penis with murder.

    Sure, lets put total people killed by bat, total people killed by machette and total people killed by firearms in one table and see which one has the bigger number. Lets use the last decade. Another progunner who isn't able to face facts. Another hysterical anti-gunner who believes inanimate object jump up and kill people. I'm assuming you also want to ban automobiles. I don't need reading glasses to figure out that a Ride Captain wouldn't be setting policy for a nat'l organization. It's a voluntary leadership role, ergo he is a leader and implicitly approves of their policies, or he would quit. Which STILL does not mean that he sets policy as to whom is honored or not. . Where did I write that he sets policy? You need to get reading glasses. Isn't the definition of a leader someone who sets policies? More of the stupid word games we have come to expect when defending lame positions.

    We also have some major upgrades in our "bunker-busters" that would make some of the bombs dropped on Kandahar look like firecrackers. The new bombs are 30,000 lbs. The ones we used in Afghanistan were 5,000 lbs. Those were so powerful that some of the allies thought the 5,000 lb bombs were nukes. I can only imagine the power of a 30,000 lb. bunker buster. I really don't think Iran wants a war with the U.S. or Israel. Hopefully, this can all be brought to an end without anyone dying.

    It may be helpful for the U.S. to remind Iran and Egypt how quickly and completely the Iraqi Military, the 4th largest in the world at the time, was defeated using nothing but conventional weapons.
