federal judge says he forwarded email with racist Obama joke
Gravitymaster replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
Let's suppose an important politician went out and specifically asked a race of people to vote for him. Let's say he is white and specifically asked whites to vote for him. Should he resign? -
Can anyone say ACORN? Really, a left-winger complaining about a Republican commiting voter fraud is just hysterical. And of course this story comes from the Right-wing bashing section of Salon Magazine which is more biased and opinionated than Fox News. Funny....

Is Mike Turner a Romney Surrogate?
-
You are missing his point. Those on welfare and other public dole do not sit around all day in a vegitative state. They can do SOMETHING, even if it's something menial.
-
Plus this is just shit stirring from an undisclosed "Romney surrogate". Give me a break. It's more likely to be a ficticious surrogate made up by the writer to sling shit. Naw...that has never happened.
-
How was it different when Romney voted for Tsongas? Are you telling us that Romney is a hypocrite? Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

The GOP chose to have open elections. Santorum didn't break any rules. If the GOP doesn't like it, then they should change the rule.

Anniversary of Branch Davidian's "MURDER" Seige
Gravitymaster replied to captain1976's topic in Speakers Corner
That path started way before the Patriot Act. Waco happened many years before 911. BTW, I opposed the govt. controling TSA. I believe you supported it. Privatization would not have gotten us where we are today. -

What would you expect from frightened little children? -
Nothing is perfect. And if you try to get rid of all error and/or fraud in a program, you'll drive the cost to far higher than the money you save. Kind of like spending $6000 to replace the engine in a rusted out Pinto. Wendy P. Right, best thing to do is just get rid of the car and walk until you can afford one.

Anniversary of Branch Davidian's "MURDER" Seige
Gravitymaster replied to captain1976's topic in Speakers Corner
A raging lunatic, yes. Did he deserve to die when he was no threat to anyone? No he did not. This was near the beginning of an ever growing, over the top, incipient Police State we now find ourselves in because it has gone unchecked for so long. Hey, what the heck. As long as it's the other person and not me, why should I care? Besides that, they were just a bunch of loony Christians. I know because the government told me so. -
What the liberals on DZ.com don't want anyone to know is that it doesn't matter who said it or where it came from, it is true. If we keep handing out food stamps at the rate we are doing it the people will become dependant on them and forget how to earn money to pay for themselves. They like to spin things until the real meaning is lost. getting you running around looking for the source just moves the entire conversation from the words and then the meaning is lost. Of course. It only takes about 47% of the population voting for you to get elected. If you get 53% dependent on government cheese, you can win many elections. The party that wants to take away the free cheese are demonized as evil doers.

Gravitymaster replied to captain1976's topic in Speakers Corner
Are you sure they weren't just scary looking? Ever noticed how there term ironically cuts both ways? Yes, government agents are "jack-booted thugs" with "assault weapons," but the Davidians are simply innocent people minding their own business without "assault weapons" on "trumped up gun charges" or a "minor gun violation"? Sheesh! I'm intentionally using language you would understand. -
Anniversary of Branch Davidian's "MURDER" Seige
Gravitymaster replied to captain1976's topic in Speakers Corner
Right, what happened at Ruby Ridge could never happen to them. After all, it's pretty normal to have jack-booted thugs show up armed with assault weapons to serve a simply warrant for a minor gun violation. Why would they be worried? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruby_Ridge -
Out of the mouth of a politicians wife
Gravitymaster replied to Gravitymaster's topic in Speakers Corner
when did we lose our sense of humor and become politically correct automatons? No wonder this country is going to hell. Lighten the fuck up and take a joke already. (and at least he's getting more coverage than Ron Paul) Apparently the sarcasm and parody was lost on you. -

Not in the U.S. They have also killed 4 Americans because a Koran was burned over there. I doubt the outrage would be the same if that Koran was burned in the U.S. -
Anniversary of Branch Davidian's "MURDER" Seige
Gravitymaster replied to captain1976's topic in Speakers Corner
So . . . you're claiming it was a religious issue and not a weapons issue? If a member of a Mosque had a warrant for a minor gun charge, do you think they would have served the warrant using jack-booted thugs armed with assault weapons? In the US, post-9/11? Yes. Absolutely. Now, it's your turn. Answer my question. "So . . . you're claiming it was a religious issue and not a weapons issue?" The authority they claimed to justify serving the warrant came from a gun charge. Why do you think they just didn't wait for Koresch to leave the cmpound on an errand and then arrest him without incident? -

Out of the mouth of a politicians wife
Gravitymaster replied to Gravitymaster's topic in Speakers Corner
This is outrageous. This woman is threatening to murder the press. Someone call child protective services as she is clearly unfit to be a mother. Is this the kind of violent woman we want as first lady? If she has these kind of violent tendencies, I can only imagine what a violent scumbag her husband must be. What would happen to you and I if we made these kind of threats? Damn politicians think they can live by different rules than the rest of us. No wonder this country is going to Hell. These politicians wives are all the same. -
We'd have to shoot you.
