Are you a company that provides healthcare? -

That's not what you said. You said: Why would a "company" that provides healthcare find it morally objectionable? This is not even on the same scale as the government forcing people to buy health insurance, which apparently you think is OK. Frankly I think it's BS to force the ultra-sound. I also think it's BS to force people to buy insurance. -

I agree. It says a lot about them I think. Don't forget he also wanted to watch videos of her having sex; just some more good conservative Christian values. When did he ever portray himself as a conservative Christian? Can you post a link where you got this information from? A. He's a Christian B. He's a conservative C. he does not believe in evolution, but in ID. http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2010/09/29/tackling_darwinism_in_literalville Someone who has had 3 marriages is not portraying themselves as conservative Christian. People can also have specific beliefs and still not portray themselves as someone with those beliefs. As an example, one can be a skydiver without portraying themselves as such. I have heard Limbaugh portray himself as a conservative but rarely as a Christian as religion is not something frequently discussed on his show. It's very likely because he knows a fairly large percentage of his audience is either Athiest or some other religion such as Hebrew. -

I believe you watch people like Maher and Stewart. They have said just as bad or worse. Merely watching or listening to them does not mean I support what they say. Limbaugh has apologized, so did Imus and Schultz. I don't recall you expressing the sam outrage when Schultz made his comments so I would suggest you turn that mirror and your finger pointing around.I forgive them for what they said and I hope they will refrain from such in the future. In the meantime, life goes on. I also don't recall you coming to the defense of Palin, Bachmann and Ingraham. -

I guess they will be back advertising on his show soon. Perhaps David Friend is driven not just by money? His stockholders are, though. he will be sniveling and whining like a baby begging Limbaugh to let him advertise again very soon. I'm hoping I move up in the waiting line to get my company ads on the Limbaugh Show. Advertising on his show is very profitable. -

Senator John McCain urges air strikes on Syria
Gravitymaster replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
But did he say it because in 2008 he was in favor of 100 years of occupation, or merely because Obama directed the departure? I'm always amazed when seemingly intelligent people believe political manipulation. Perhaps this will help undo the brainwashing. http://www.factcheck.org/2008/04/dnc-vs-mccain/ "Maybe a hundred. … We’ve been in Japan for 60 years. We’ve been in South Korea for 50 years or so. That would be fine with me, as long as Americans, as long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed. It’s fine with me and I hope it would be fine with you if we maintain a presence in a very volatile part of the world. " How is that not showing McCain in favor of 100 years of occupation? Because you also said this: Whereas McCain's statement had to do with a peaceful presence. -

The irony is that governments have immunity from prosecution for that type of thing - they have no duty or obligation to protect you. And yet these are the same folks denying citizens the means to protect themselves. Go figure! Then we are entering 14th Amendment territory, it seems.

That doesn't make sense either. If you're preventing women (who would otherwise use birth control or possibly have an abortion) from having easy access to birth control or abortions, then the result is more of "them." So you are saying a 30 year old college student can't afford $9 per month for birth control pills? Really??? -
Senator John McCain urges air strikes on Syria
Gravitymaster replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
They only oppose it when it's a Republican and they have been told to oppose it. Notice none of them had a problem with Clinton going into Bosnia with airstrikes for exactly the same reason McCain wants to bomb Syria? -
I'm surprised that someone who has been a victim of a crime, hasn't filed a lawsuit against Maryland claiming they refused to issue a permit.

The 2nd Amendment was written with the idea of allowing the people a way of "defending" themselves against foreign invaders or "defending" themselves against a repressive government.

Gravitymaster replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
Are you aware that Obama has actually already made air strikes on about 6 middle east nations? Yeah, but those were Obama's idea. Airstrikes on Syria are from a Republican so that's how we know it's bad -
Because all the weapons you named are not used for defensive purposes.

Or what has been said about Obama and Pelosi by the right wingers. However, Palin, Pelosi and Obama put themselves up there for comment, and have their own pulpits for response. Limbaugh's attack on a student was in a different class altogether - LOW CLASS. I don't disagree that the words Limbaugh used were uncalled for. However to claim that it's OK to attack someone using vile language because they have the pulpit to respond is low class, too. To title a thread like this one in light of the attacks on Bachmann, Palin, Ingraham, O'Donnell etc. is the height of hypocrisy. I can understand why you feel the need to defend it considering you are one of the most guilty parties on this website. -

We won't even get into what's been said about Sarah Palin and other female politicians by left-wing commentators. Most lefties at least on this site agreed with these slanders but now get all indignant about this. Really, the hypocracy is dripping into a puddle on the floor. -

d. As opposed to it being the topic of Every MSM show as well as every news platform yesterday and today. Got it. I would suggest Obama called this student for purely political reasons. -

Why do you think Obama called this college student when he didn't call Laura Ingraham when Ed Schultz called her a slut on the air? How come you and your lefty bretheren didn't have this same outrage for Laura? -
For now, Police do not have the right to set up a roadblock and search your vehicle without PC. They can ask for ID, smell your breath and look in your car window but that is about all they can do without PC or your consent. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random_checkpoint However, this will likely change as we move closer to a Police State and the continud trampling of our Constitutional Rights.
