And the award for the worst non sequitur...Gravity! "ObamaCare avocates oppose rape. How dare they!" If these transvaginal ultrasounds had any medical value, there might be a semblance of a point. But they don't, it's just a shallow attempt to punish women for exercising their rights. But no....you've got it - this is exactly the same as advocating health care for all. Gravity - it should embarrass you that the party that claims to be about as little government as possible floats out this sort of bullshit in their war against anyone, but especially women, having fun in life. It's about the consequences of giving the government more and more control over your life. It's about allowing the government to make medical decisions for you. If you think it's perfectly fine to allow the government to mandate what procedures you will and will not have, then you are very naive. Very naive, indeed. -

Isn't it interesting that the same people who are advocates for the government mandating Socialized Medicine and Healthcare are the same ones upset when the government mandates women have ultra-sounds before an abortion? Be careful what you ask for. When you give the government more and more control over your life, they might not always make the same decisions for you that you would have made for yourself. They might also use the current power you have given them to exercise even more control over your life. -

Pretty interesting observation. On the other side, it's rare that a loser on the Dem side ever runs again. In fact most of the time (not always), with maybe the exception of Kerry and Ted Kennedy, it ruins their elected political career shortly afterwards.

It might clarify your view of southern democrats. The man lives at a latitude south of Charleston, South Carolina. How match farther south does he need to be? You have never spent much time in the deep south have you? Does it share Santorum's belief that college is for snobs? This sort of anti intellectualism goes back a while and was exemplified by GW. So, what exactly did you want me to count, then? sounds awfully like you're agreeing with me that they're not pointing out that voter fraud helped the dems, but they're assuming it did. Try re-reading the entire article. I'm agreeing that it's likely felons gave Franken the win. Ha! Dope dealers are small businessmen and we know which way they vote. OK, I'll play...do you have something that indicates the % of convicted felons that voted who were drug dealers?

yep that the dem's fucked us, the bill did nothing to reduce costs, my costs went up. my shops insurance coverage has been reduced causing more out of pocket costs and insurance went up $4000 last year alone. ($1000 per person a year) yep I deffinately see a tend. Well, things will get better for you when the freeloaders like the plaintiff in this case have to pay their own insurance rather than sticking their medical bills to you and your employees. So you would be OK with the government requiring people to get insurance on their own and if they don't garnishing their wages and forcing them to buy into a government plan? That would allow those of us who are capable of taking care of ourselves to continue on our own privately selected plans. Many States have a similar plan for automobile insurance.
