    I'm willing to bet that an argument could be made that more and more laws are added to the books every year that turn more and more americans into criminals. Would also be willing to submit that there is selective enforcement of those laws. So what crimes (other than the normal BS arguments about all these 1000's of people who are in jail for simple possesion of pot) are we jailing people for that they should be imprisoned for committing? Selective enforcement does not create more criminals, it creates fewer.

Statistics didn't cause temperatures to flatten out for 40 years. Something environmentally related did. I'd like to know what that was. If you don't know, just say so and stop tap dancing. D.I.     Has it occurred to you that we have more crime because people feel privileged and have a sense of entitlement that makes them feel more justified in committing a crime? Has it occurred to you that we have a huge illegal immigration problem and that criminals are pouring over our borders and joining street gangs? Has it occurred to you that we might just be better at arresting criminals? Or are you saying that we falsely jail people at a higher rate than the rest of the world does?

    I paid $hundreds more federal tax last year because I didn't buy energy efficient windows. -(-1) = +1 Don't buy energy efficient stuff or don't buy health insurance... Exactly the same effect on the "Total tax" line (IRS 1040 line 61) There were no tax credits available last year for energy efficient windows so you lost nothing. Do I get a tax credit for having my own health insurance under Obamas plan?

    It might be if it did, but there is no objective proof it has. In fact, there seems to be a bit of evidence in this thread the opposite is true. You have stated many times that people don't know you and that they can believe whatever they want. I assume you mean based on your postings on this website. Yet you claim to know what kind of person he is or isn't based on the same criteria. Shouldn't others recieve the same degree of allowances you demand for yourself?

    Why do you athiests care so much what he believes? They are his beliefs, right or wrong. Do you hope that somehow you are going to change him? I think calling people idiots or whatever, etc. says more about you than it does about him. Isn't the kind of person one is more important than what he believes? If his beliefs make him a more kind and caring person with a good moral compass, isn't that more important?
