Well, my shoulder stayed intact. Always a good thing! 2:2:0 two frozen hands - it was below 60, brrr. need to find my skydiving gloves or buy new ones. 2 little jumps (good to jump with jerm and heidi!) 0 beer owed and no alcohol consumed this weekend. Over the next two weeks I should be able to jump my ass off.

I'll say this... When I was at Wings, we had a customer who REALLY wanted the tiny PC that Atair recommended, to go with his new Wings. I refused to order him one, told him the combination would result in at least PC hesitation. He got pissed off and went and got a 22" from another manufacturer and voila - PC in tow on his first jump. He called to say "Sorry, I should have listened..." Moral of the story - go with the rig manufacturer's recommendation first. That's my not-so-humble opinion anyhow.

1:0:0 1 messed up shoulder. 0 jumps. (would have jumped on Sun but weather was crappy!) 0 beer owed of course. Jerm, Ron, Heidi (She's on dz.com too but I can't find her name) and I got wrongfully banned from a local pizza place. Fun times!

I just PM'd sangiro but I'm sure he's swamped or not even checking for messages. Anyone else's email account not working? I haven't been able to receive email since the end of October. I can send email just fine, just can't receive any. I'm not over the size limit, that much I know... thanks, heather

Much to the detriment of my bank accounts, I have not given up. The tunnel is VERY humbling. Don't go there for the first time expecting to fly like a rock star. As for tunnel flight vs real flight. To me, freefall feels a lot smoother than the tunnel air, but other than that it feels the same. Maybe a little "easier" than tunnel air. But Arlo, I've really tried! At some point...I just can't go any higher and I just kinda fall. It's really a rather amusing feeling.

Why not just go to the source (the manufacturer/designer) with this kind of question? You could ask Henri: henri@skydivewings.com and then post his reply if you have his permission. --Heather

5:7:0 5 days off in a row! 7 jumps on sat/sun. (21 for the week, which is a lot for me - everything from 2-ways to 16-ways. we suck less!!!) 0 beers owed...but several concoctions consumed back to reality tomorrow. dammit.

Funky fabrics are good so long as they are tough. If you find something you like just give Henri a sample and he'll let you know if they can work with it! How about some custom embroidery to dress it up?

go for a split rig instead. all the cool kids are doing it. seriously though, that rig looks like so many other rigs out there. it's cool-looking but if you want a rig that stands out i'd go with something else. i saw a lot of wings go through the shop that looked very similar to that.

Congrats on the birdman jump, Kris! 1:8:0 1 great new jumpsuit (I'll figure out how to fly this thing eventually) 8 jumps (7-ways up to 13-ways, 1 meeker extreme, 1 meeker insanity) lotsa video and great weather! and it's only a 2-day work week, whoohoooo!

Yeeha! I can't wait for turkey boogie. 8-way and 16-way! I'm thinking a little alcohol might be consumed too. (for those of you who know the gang, Jenn and Heather will be at my place from the friday before thanksgiving until thanksgiving morning too.) And Jenn is willing to fly camera for us!

I agree with some of those
