10/16 Guys are NOT allowed to look hot. That's just disturbing. I was at a hotel in Van Nuys when they happened to be having a drag queen convention (NO, I was NOT part of it!!!). There were some obvious dudes with wigs on, then there were the hot womenz with manly voices...

Your vertical speed profile won't change at all. Its that age old physics question of throwing a rock strictly horizontally, and dropping one from the same height at the same moment. They will both hit the ground at the same time.

I've made some really good friends at it, and gotten closer to other friends I've had because of it. Otherwise, not too much has changed. I've always been into getting outdoors and having fun - skydiving is a lot of fun and I love it, but so are many other things in the world. For me, thats snowboarding, flying, wakeboarding, scuba diving. I think right now skydiving is my favorite, though

That is not true. A private pilot can share flight expenses, if there is a common purpose for the flight - and even then, the private pilot still has to pay his share. Dropping skydivers gives you no common purpose - unless you plan on jumping out with them , so you can't even accept a single dollar from them, no matter how much it costs you. You need a commercial for that. However, if you pay for the entire thing, it is legal for you to drop jumpers. Just remember that safe and legal are not the same things.

Ditto - I work as a flight instructor. Its a really hard business to make any decent money at, because there are so many people that want to do it and are ok with making very little. I imagine skydiving biz is similar. -

rough calculation gives me 5.5 seconds of freefall for the pumpkin. I didn't account for drag, but its fairly negligible. At 75 mph, that gives me 613 ft across the ground. Good luck!

Sure I get the same feeling after An aerobatic flight Jumping a motorcycle Taking my car a bit too fast around a turn Going down a steep chute on my snowboard Can't think of anything else specific off the top of my head - but anytime I push the limits of my own skills - and nail it, its the BEST feeling in the world. I am honest to god smiling right now just thinking about it!

You must've been on a different skyvan than I've been on. The exit totally fucking rocked, but it was noisy as shit AND took forever to get to altitude. The PAC is a decent climber - far better than my experience with the skyvan. Perhaps yours had bigger engines?
