Ugh, I feel your pain. I'm doing cold calling sales for home alarm systems. Great part about the job? It pays pretty damn well for the number of hours I work. Shitty part about the job? Always wondering if I'll make the sales I need to, and getting rejected at the door literally 50 times for every sale. Good luck with it, I'm still trying to figure this crap out!

Thanks... I think I need to find a local Skydivers Anonymous group - I'm thoroughly addicted I'm going a similar route with the airplane thing - building a Vans RV-8, so I'll be able to do all my own maint. and everything. Still gonna be $50-$80k when I'm done with it, though

Well, this is my first post here. Just started AFF out at Skydive San Diego. I did 2 & 3 today. Anyways, I know exactly what you mean. In a previous life, I was a flight instructor. Its about $6k just to get your license flying (if you're good) and then its about $100 an hour after that. Chews through money even faster than skydiving, I dare say.
