First off I want to say.. please don't laugh... Since skydiving already takes a good portion of my cash I really cannot afford an expensive nice camera right now. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with a flycam (Camera made for mounting inside RC aircraft) This camera does video in 640x480 / 320x240 and stills in 1280x1024. While obviously low res and cheap compared to what you are using I am looking at this as a start to camera flying (mainly due to its extremely small size) I also like the fact I can use the same card as my digital camera. Does anyone have any experience with these? I was curious what sort of quality I could expect. There are several videos but all of them are very small which makes me wonder how pixelated the picture will look at 640x480. Thank you. Then there was mention of air density and I still don't really get what that is. Is air density like humidity or how much air is in a given area??? And, how does it affect aircraft performance? Sorry to sound dumb. - Nothing dumb about that. Air density is how tightly the air molecules are packed. On a cold day an aircraft can get off the ground faster and climb steeper because there is more air flow over the wing. On a warm day the aircraft requires more runway and a longer takeoff roll because the air is not as dense thus the plane needs more speed to produce the same amount of airflow over the wing. I did my first AFF when I was 18 at Skydive Greenville, in Greenville South Carolina. This DZ had a kingair C-90 and was at the Donaldson Center airport. The DZ is no longer there and I'm wondering if anyone had ever heard of "Skydive Greenville" or knows what happened. Millions of my potential children died on your daughters' face last night.

I've often wondered myself on this. Would it be possible or just plain dangerous to put a chem light on either end of the canopy. Green on right /Red on left. (This is how pilots in the air tell if an aircraft is coming to or away - left or right at night.. Boats might be the same??) Anyway I think it would be wise to mark where the top of your canopy is for the sake of other jumpers.. maybe pack a white glow stick in with the PC? Of course I'm noob but that's why im asking. I do plan to carry a small bright flashlight with me to look at and check my canopy after opening. If your DZ has a place to buy ANY sort of gear spend $5-10 on a pair of cheap flexfit goggles they won't break if you step on them and they will stay on better than the more expensive ones in most cases so if a contact comes out you won't lose it anyway. As far as full face.. dunno how it is in england but while under student status here full face helmets are not allowed. As far as the accuracy thing, it takes time and practice. If you are coming up a little short on landing fly in brakes to lengthen the approach but make sure that you allow 10 seconds atleast of full flight at the end to get a good flare OR cut your base leg of the patten closer than you have been previously. Avoid low turns under canopy and give yourself time at full flight to get a good flare... I cannot stress that enough. - Don't take what I say as instruction because I am still new myself Millions of my potential children died on your daughters' face last night.

So my chix likes to sew and make stuff yep.. middle of the night walking to kitchen for a drink and step on a pin cushion in the middle of the floor. I'm guessing the cat knocked it off the desk and was playing with. In a couple of days I will laugh about hopping over to turn on the light and see what the hell I've stepped on.. I agree with the less is more, and so far nobody has liked the choice of tunes, but this is not a big problem. As far as editing.. I make my living on a pc and spend about 18 hours a day on one.. editing is just something I found to be fun. Ergonomics to me is moving the beer bottles so I can still see the screen.
