Palmetto tiger, hey! thats my dz! i jump at Xkeys :) its actually in Williamstown, but other than that, youre facts are right on. Have you been out there lately? Some of the guys are finishing up a tandem/video room. Its an addition to the old room. Now the tandem students are gonna be paying for thier video in there, and not at manifest. Its turning out good. The freefly lounge is now a bathroom and so is the other 'lounge' next to it. Theres a lot of remodeling going on right now, getting ready for a busy season ahead. They also build another shed, and are working thier tails off. Its all turning out really nice, i just got home from Xkeys like 5 minutes ago. froggie

hello palmetto tiger, whats going on? welcome to our little world here. Froggie~now how did i get that nick? well, a long long time ago (hell! it was '95!) when i was a freshman in high school I was this tiny little stick of a person. It was before i really took on any shape, and before i had banges. Everybody and their little sister is taller than me so Id have to look up to talk to people... One day, I was talking to "reggie" (we gave him that nick) and hes looking down at me and just yells "kermit!" in the middle of our conversation. I was a bit confused, but after he pointed out to everyone that all you notice when you looked at me was my big ass eyes well, then i started to understand. The kermit stuck for a while, but then it sorta turned into kermie and now, ive just adapted it to be froggie. Ive actually been thinking of changing it to frogz, but thats not up to me :) its whatever people wanna call me. (within limits!) Now, about the SO froggie, you gotta ask Grogs about that one! :) But he had better not tell...... lol froggie

darn it! I came all the way back up here just to get shot down! You realize that its 40 degrees and cold as hell in the north right? Where im from, its always a comfortable 5,000 degree celcius. You dont know what youre missing Angel boy :)

Mountainman, yeah dude, i think that its pretty damn scary. When im riding to alti and somebody gets out for a hop and pop i look down and think that i can see too many tiny features of the ground that low. its scary :)

skymokeyone, by the way.. you got there late thursday night.. did you happen to see my 'powerlifting'? i didnt mean to drop craig, i just couldnt stand up without the extra weight of somebody on my shoulders, let alone with him up there! hehe. did you happen to partake in the sing along? all i gotta say is that i couldnt hear the guys sing "build me up buttercup" enough! hehe. cant wait for the next boogie. froggie

And then when my friends land, after ive packed their rig, seeing that they had an awesome time and no problems is a nice feeling. well, my *friend* from CSS made 360 dollars this weekend, on saturday alone! aint that some shit? Ill answer that question for ya when i actually start packing. shouldnt be more than 2 weeks from now. Season opener is next weekend! whoo heee! i love spring :)

so im out at the dz on monday, screwing around, packing a few rigs, just for practice and this guy from the dz comes over that ive never actually talked to before... starts giving me advice. Soon he brings me out another rig. Brand new, never been jumped, 260 ft. (something) Zero P canopy. It took a bit of huffing and puffing but i packed that baby something sweet. So then this guy says that he wants to talk to me before i leave... Long story short, he offered me a job packing this summer :) whoo heee.! I stop by the dz today to work something out w/ him, cause i still got a lot to learn and i wanted to tell him that i officially take the job, cause he had given me a couple of days to think it over. (like i needed time to decide?!?) so were sitting there , discussing the whole packing job, and Skeff walks up "kel, can you work the video room this weeked?" well hell yeah i can skeff! hehe. "wheres kelly?" "i think shes working in the video room?" "nope, not today..." "Maybe shes packing? wait, shes not packing today either." "oh! shes manifesting today! i remember!" hehehehehehehe. 3 jobs, one dropzone. im in my friggin glory :) :) picture a frog w/ a big, dumb ass grin on her face! thats me :)

hehehehe. i wasnt gonna mention the balloons on here but since you guys did... That was one of the best parts of the whole trip! :) lol. Im partying my ass off w/ a friend and all of a sudden somebody grabs me (literally reached out and grabbed me) "come on, ive got something youre gonnna loveeeee!" man, was he ever right. Had a really funny time in that camper :) hehe. theyre the ones that lent me and my friend the pillows. It took me 2 days, and walking into numerous campers trying to figure out which one i had been that had the balloons, to finally return the pillows to the rightful owners. Ah, what a boogie. froggie

hehe, i do that too! hears another tip.... stick your arm out the window and keep it bent towards the side view mirror. then move only your wrists and your hands. youll feel the relative wind. I did that this past week and realized why it only takes a flick of the wrist and some minor hand movement to move in freefall. It was fun :)

hehe. if you only knew Greg. we watched a very amusing video of stacy yesterday... sort of like a collection of different skydives of hers. Ask her about how she took out both her JM's during AFF... now that was a riot to watch! oh yeah, she can really sit fly too! lol kel

stac, so happy for ya! and im glad that i was there for most of it. Oh yeah, its an official rule now, no flour when ya pie somebody. It doesnt have good outcomes. Friends step in, try to help. next thing they know theyve got vodka and cranburry juice all over themselves. hehe. But anywhoo, it was an awesome boogie, and im really happy that you did so much. kingi, hey! thats weird. I bet that we saw eachother a dozen times and just didnt know it. I was the only one there not jumping! (practically). Um. this is wierd. I know that we had to have run into eachother down there. I could have sworn that I was wearing my Wingi's angel tee on saturday.. not to sure though cause all the days sort of blended together. wonder why? :) kel

happy birthday jim! it was nice to finally meet the infamous FFF.

ah man. jersey sucks. I want to live at CSS! seriously though, the weather was amazing for the most part. I got a bit of a tan.. worked on my packing. (free pack jobs for all my friends the entire vacation!) Saw some amazing sights. The parties were soo much fun~ from what i remember. lol. got to meet some more dz.com friends. so that was pretty damn cool. I flew in a um.. what the hell is it called again? ULTRA LIGHT! thats it! it looks like a hang glide but has an engine and a seat on it. Went for a ride along. Bare foot, wearing shorts and a tee. The feel of the wind in my face and rushing thru my toes. oh man it was amazing. We buzzed a few fields, took about a 10 minute flight. Some skydivers landed off and they were about 200 feet away under canopy. Now that was cool. The people there were sooo much fun! Jerry is a riot. for those of you who havent ment jerry, hes just too funny w/ his pimpin tent and colorful jumpsuit. i dont even know where to begin to tell you guys about it. Maybe Jim and Jim and Brandon et all can give more details. oh! Lyle pressie gave a really good seminar on canopy control. It put some things into perspective for me. Plus he gave me some other tips too this week. Fun guy. Learned some new packing techniques. Really worked well. Oh! jimbo (jim) got me a case of carona! it was sooo nice of him! im wandering around, totally trashed, and he tells me to go check my tent, theres something waiting in there for me.... Well, i wasnt seen or heard from again for the rest of the evening. lol Canada rocks :) hehe. It was so nice to be able to walk around, not caring what i was wearing, how scruffy my feet were (barefoot most of the time), getting totally trashed at night and partaking in some crazy ass bonfire parying. Somehow i ended up with this guy on my shouders dancing around... I cant believe i managed to do that. lol oh well, now its time to get back to the real world, darn this sucks. im sure ill remember more about the trip. froggie
