Farflung said: "The money with a darkened exterior could have been sitting on top of the surface with the appearance of any other debris from the perspective of an 8 year old. " There is nothing to suggest the money was darkened when it was found. Photos seems to suggest not. The current information seems to point to the use of silver nitrate for fingerprints, causing the darkening. But I'm suspicious about that claim. In any case, although photos from that day don't show both sides of all bills, the total info we have seems to suggest the bills darkened after they were found. Now from what? we only have anecdotal info. The CSG porn movie group would know more.

Farflung said "How far could any of us dig in a snow covered shore in the coldest month of the year?" There is nothing to suggest there was snow on the beach during the money find. If you're referring to the pictures of Brian playing in the snow taken shortly after the money find, those are not at the money find location. We have many photos of the money find, and video snaps, posted back in the thread. (taken in the days immediately following). The video snaps are interesting because you get a bit of a feel for the looseness of the sand. (they're digging with shovels and rakes, before the backhoe is used) (edit) This has the comparison with the new photo from georger http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3636341;search_string=tena%20bar;#3636341 nice one showing the bigness of the backhoe dig operation http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=109644; I mused about wet vs dry sand here http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3273075;search_string=tena%20bar;#3273075 Oh remember the 3/09 video with Tom Kaye...there were new photos of Tena Bar (color) from the dig time. Well the Citizen's Sleuth thing has always been bullshit. Galen's pointing out the obvious: Tom Kaye was all prepared to use his special access to further his career, if he could, with the publication of a scientific paper, using his special access to data. These guys want to do the same thing, but they don't have the special access. What happened to the release of data that was pending scientific publication? I mean, we see on TV a tease about "metal that shouldn't be there"...and then never hear about it again...and then our only info is from georger about some silver nitrate story. Who knows if that is all lies or what? I mean, I see stuff on TV, and then I read stuff on a web forum called DZ.com? This is the FBI? oh p.s. that web forum has some nutbag that's offering sale of Stinger missiles, is moving large quantites of gold around the planet on C-123Ks, and probably involved in cow mutilations. Not to mention references to porn actresses ("Bunny Blue"). And you know the CSG is connected to Zazi somehow.

I can't imagine people really believing someone is going to sell them C-4 or Stinger missiles in the US, in Newburgh, NY. If you set up a big business, I wonder how many fake Stinger missiles you could sell in the US? I mean...bring on all comers. What do you do if you sell 10,000? Ka-ching! You earn a profit, is what you do. SMMI: we aim to please, so you don't have to. (edit) Real Stingers are always given away free..asking for money is the tipoff of a setup. Photo attached: An Afghan fighter with a C.I.A.-supplied Stinger missile in late 1987 or early 1988, during the war against the Soviet Union. “We were handing them out like lollipops,” an American intelligence official later said. As far as I can tell, there were no black bills when the money was found. Originally, the Fazio tale talked about "black shards" I notice "black" isn't in Bruce's report. Do we all agree, from the limited photos we have, and the report of unknown provenance from georger, that the bills were not black when found? Remember my long discourse on how many, and which bills were black, and when. I've never heard money described as a shard. What exactly does shards of money look like? Is it curled up? Rotted in a sandy ball? Dry and flakey? Porcelain like? (edit) Did Fazio personally recover any shard? How did he know they weren't shards of something else? Could he see green/white? But Ingram didn't recognize bills till he cleared the junk from them? How did Fazio recognize bill shards?

this case that's happening at Newburgh, NY (Stewart airport) feds were selling them fake "stinger" missiles and fake c4. weird informant stuff it's like the '70s. http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090605/NEWS/90605036 http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090524/NEWS/905240321 series of related articles at that link (sidebar) "What’s more, he said, prosecutors have photos of the alleged plotters retrieving their weapons, which included military-grade C-4 and a Stinger missile, from a self-storage unit in New Windsor. The weapons were bogus, supplied to the accused plotters by an FBI informant." [another article] "Arnold Bogis, a research fellow at the Belfer Center at Harvard University, said informants are justified as long as their role is not simply to foment the "musings of angry, disaffected people." An imam at a Newburgh mosque has accused the confidential informant of "prompting, prompting, prompting" the four alleged plotters into the attacks with his talk of jihad and fighting. Lawyers concede actions by the FBI don't meet the legal burden of entrapment, but say they blur ethical lines by overtly encouraging their targets to participate in plots hatched by the informants. "As soon as you introduce an aggressive informant into the situation you don't have the ability to understand what the defendants' intent was going to be," said New Jersey lawyer Michael Huff, who defended one of five men sentenced in April for plotting to attack Fort Dix. There was another case that just happened, again with fake stuff from the FBI. The Dallas case is similar: FBI sets up fake cell, then convince a 19 year old to go bomb some tower with fake stuff. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/092409dnmetbombarrest.1b177db8b.html "Smadi was arrested in an FBI sting Thursday. Authorities said the Jordanian, who claimed to be a supporter of al-Qaeda, parked an SUV packed with what he thought were explosives outside Fountain Place, a 60-story office tower at Ross Avenue and Field Street. When Smadi dialed a cellphone that he thought would detonate the "truck bomb," authorities said, he was arrested by undercover FBI agents who had been posing as fellow anti-American terrorists. "

Ok. Here is some more muck for them to wade thru Don't remember where I got the information below - Old Age and technology don't mix! Seattle-Tacoma Airport was constructed by the Port of Seattle in 1944 to serve civilians of the region, after the U.S. military took control of Boeing Field for use in World War II. The Port received $1 million from the Civil Aeronautics Administration to build the airport, and $100,000 from the City of Tacoma. Commercial use of the airport began after the war ended, with the first scheduled flights occurring in 1947. Two years later, the word International was added to the airport's name as Northwest Airlines Remember one of the old books I have was published for A.W.A.R.E. Air Base Constructors. This information may be useless, but to me it makes Connections between - Boeing, Tacoma and Northwest and Cooper. Wonder if Civil Aeronautics has a record of the sub-contractors and if any employee lists are still available. Not likely after all the government doesn't keep records. You got the info from Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle-Tacoma_International_Airport Two years later, the word International was added to the airport's name as Northwest Airlines began direct service to Tokyo. The runway was lengthened twice, first in 1959 to allow use by jets, and again in 1961 to handle increased traffic for the upcoming Century 21 World's Fair. The current terminal complex was built in 1959. In 1966, SAS inaugurated the airport's first non-stop route to Europe. The Port embarked on a major expansion plan from 1967 to 1973, adding a second runway, a parking garage, two satellite terminals, and other improvements to the airport.

Jo worried "the researchers have to wade thru all of OUR muck to find them" I don't see the issue with that. Don't you remember how much stuff Ckret claimed the FBI had, and the problems with wading thru that. We could easily summarize information, but there is no consensus, no confidence on sources, etc. There isn't even consensus on what's worth documenting. Remember the long dissertations that Sluggo would give on what he considered "data" and what he considered worth reading. Remember how he even worried about being "tainted" by reading something with bad data in it. Me, there is just one important thing. How many words can you write, supposedly related to one subject, without repeating yourself. Is it possible to talk about something new every day? Think of this like writing the script for "Friends" or "Seinfeld". Can you really talk about nothing, while everyone involved thinks they're talking about something? Can you talk about talking about and not shut down the talking about? Actually it's like writing the script for "Enemies". Hey, that will be my pitch.

heh! Exactly right. But you'll stay. Because we attract the best women. Go check out the other threads on DZ.com. You'll see. You know I was shocked at georger's use of the phrase "blow job"...we've explored his issues with stewardess fantasies before. I'm surprised it's all finally coming out. Healthy!

377 said: "As much as I love the old radial engined beasts like the 123, I think we need one of these babies, a modified Herc with surplus ASROC anti sub rocket motors used for vectored thrust. The Slovenians can get us all the solid fueled rocket motors we might need, right? " One problem on the rocket motors. I've been reading up on the US legal code and the definition of WMD. Evidently "destructive devices" are included under WMD. And "destructive devices" includes rockets of a certain size...actually not very big. I'm starting to think "WMD" is more a political thing..i.e. it's used against guys of questionable nationality..you know, not born in the USA? (You can buy our Tang..just don't show up at the front door) So, I just thought it would be fair to warn applicants: "There will be WMD"...it's just a legal thing. I mean we all have WMDs, so it's not like this should be a surprise to anyone. commentary from http://zombietango.com/blog/2009/04/us-legal-definition-of-wmd/ 18 U.S.C. 2332a * (2) the term “weapon of mass destruction” means— o (A) any destructive device as defined in section 921 of this title; o (B) any weapon that is designed or intended to cause death or serious bodily injury through the release, dissemination, or impact of toxic or poisonous chemicals, or their precursors; o (C) any weapon involving a biological agent, toxin, or vector (as those terms are defined in section 178 of this title); or o (D) any weapon that is designed to release radiation or radioactivity at a level dangerous to human life; 8 U.S.C. 921 (4) The term “destructive device” means— (A) any explosive, incendiary, or poison gas— (i) bomb, (ii) grenade, (iii) rocket having a propellant charge of more than four ounces, (iv) missile having an explosive or incendiary charge of more than one-quarter ounce, (v) mine, or (vi) device similar to any of the devices described in the preceding clauses; (B) any type of weapon (other than a shotgun or a shotgun shell which the Attorney General finds is generally recognized as particularly suitable for sporting purposes) by whatever name known which will, or which may be readily converted to, expel a projectile by the action of an explosive or other propellant, and which has any barrel with a bore of more than one-half inch in diameter; and (C) any combination of parts either designed or intended for use in converting any device into any destructive device described in subparagraph (A) or (B) and from which a destructive device may be readily assembled. Here's a guy who got nailed for his rocket. I believe he was the 205th disciple of Zazi, and the government and press have covered this up. Likely because he's another white guy. http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/data2/circs/8th/073631p.pdf "On June 19, 2005, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at Teeter's residence2 in Nixa, Missouri, and recovered eight firearms, ammunition, Trench-Rite explosive, dynamite, an MK66 model 1 rocket with an inert warhead, and literature on the manufacture of improvised explosive devices. Teeter admitted that he regularly used marijuana and acknowledged that the firearms, ammunition, explosives, and MK66 belonged to him. He also told police that he believed the MK66 was a harmless novelty item." MK66 stuff shown here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydra_70 I want those!

Farflung: "The value of the internet has been squandered on the least deserving and most disruptive elements of the human condition. Rather than compounding talents spread across the entire globe we decide to segregate into smaller fragments of the same already small group of common interest." Agree. I'm looking for C-123K pilots. Can you fly a C-123? I don't really care about your resume. You just have to agree to not crash the plane. (edit) Farflung: there's a song and dance that happens when fresh meat shows up here. Georger kisses butt (witness what happened when Jerry and Bruce first showed up)...eventually georger gets disgusted and attacks..etc. Me: I think you have nothing. You've got an assumption that you've got some power of analysis that will shine light somewhere where it hasn't been shined before. Regardless of any personal interaction issues...I don't think that's possible. I'm calling you out. You've got nothing. Which is why you've descended into attack mode so quickly. You're one of us! Welcome! You recognize the enemy, because you are it too.

Troy: This is your new pilot Troy speaking, and sitting next to me is my main man, my brother from another mother, the biggest pimp that I know, Superfly Agent Flynn. Ladies and gentlemen, Agent Flynn. Emmett Bradley: Sir, have you got any experience piloting a jet aircraft? Troy: Oh, yeah. F-15's, F-16's, A-10 Warthogs, I've flown all that shit. Emmett Bradley: Then we're all thankful to have you, sir. What squadron were you with? Troy: The Awesome Fighting Aces. Troy: [to Flynn] Man, I'm telling you, them video games got their shit locked down tight. Emmett Bradley: Sir, are you telling me that your only real flight time is at the controls of a video game? Troy: No, see, it's - it's not a video game, all right? It's a flight simulator. Neville Flynn: Is that PlayStation or Xbox? Troy: PlayStation 2. Man, it's got an introduction by Chuck Yeager and everything. and of course: Neville Flynn: Enough is enough! I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane

there's about 8 pages worth scanning here Remember last year that tv guy published the book on Lincoln, and including some stuff about Coffelt and the Cooper story... well you can read most of it in the book on Google Books..starting here http://books.google.com/books?id=XAPBW7nyZEIC&pg=PT445#v=onepage&q=&f=false I didn't realize the FBI apparently decided Coffelt was in a mental hospital in Illinois during the hijack? In any case, the Coffelt story sounds pretty silly.

How come this kid isn't facing life without parole. I mean he had shit..lots of it. I guess 19 really is older than "kid" too. This is today http://www.upi.com/Emerging_Threats/2009/09/24/US-teen-tied-to-IEDs-fake-CIA-badge/UPI-64311253807017/ BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. authorities said a 19-year-old Maryland native is linked to the possession of explosive devices and faked CIA intelligence identification badges. Rod Rosenstein, the U.S. attorney for the District of Maryland, said Collin McKenzie-Gude of Bethesda, Md., pleaded guilty to the possession of an unregistered destructive device. Court documents and his plea agreement state law enforcement officers in July 2008 recovered a weapons cache from his bedroom, including an AK-47 assault rifle, a modified flash bang grenade and nitrate chemicals used to manufacture explosive devices. In addition, police say they allegedly uncovered a fake Central Intelligence Agency identification access badge and a faked common access card from the U.S. Government Geneva Conventions. "We cannot know for certain what Collin McKenzie-Gude would have done if law enforcement had not acted," said Rosenstein. "What we know for certain is that he made and exploded pipe bombs and had the components to build new explosive devices." McKenzie-Gude admitted to having the knowledge to make explosive devices, shape charges and other similar weapons. Latent fingerprints from detonated pipe bombs link him to a number of devices. The U.S. government said it believes McKenzie-Gude had between eight and 24 firearms and made between 15 and 25 pipe bombs at his residence. He faces a 10-year prison sentence and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 7.

Everyone is involved in the plot. Women are in on the plot too. recognized a woman! Used the "blond" excuse to buy chemicals! I think I saw some blonds by the acetone at Ace Hardware! Acetone is so available at hardware stores..why would you buy nail polish remover? Sure sounds like mistaken identification...Everyone is a terrorist! I know! Hell! Even the "American" looking ones! http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=113185375 Pauline Graham, a saleswoman at Sally Beauty Supply in Aurora, said the FBI interviewed everyone in her store about two weeks ago. She said they also showed her photos. "I didn't recognize any of the men, but I recognized one of the women," Graham said. She said the woman bought "ethnic" beauty supplies but no peroxide, and that anyone buying large quantities would have attracted attention. Hong Eom, 30, owner of Kay Lee Beauty Supply in Aurora, said he told an FBI agent last week that a woman recently bought a large quantity of Clairoxide from him and that a man bought a lot of acetone on a different day. He said the customers appeared to be "American." Eom said the woman bought 10 16-ounce bottles of Clairoxide. While most people buy only one or two, he didn't think her purchase was strange because her hair was very blond. "I thought she needed a lot because she dyed her hair every week," he said. Michael didn't know he lived near a WMD store. Michael Abeyta, 41, lives in an apartment complex near the Beauty Supply Warehouse, which is housed in an old skating rink several miles east of downtown Denver. "That's 50 feet from my home," he said. "It's just scary that they can buy that stuff here. Hydrogen peroxide can be used for a few things. I didn't think bombs was one of them." Knowledge is a dangerous thing. We need some town hall meetings on this.

it's always interesting to see where people work in their caveats..i.e. wiggle room. Sounds like those "inexperienced jumpers" are bastards-from-hell! Is there a charm school?

I want to be banned. Quade won't do it. I suspect a plot. So: It's not my fault. It's some OGA's fault. I notice on the Zazi thing, the various 50 agencies are bickering. The whole investigation was based on the imam maintaining state secrets for some reason? People are already getting fired. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gpWnL9ZZRMgGCBTyE2-aSa9uBvrAD9AU0NAG1 "In a joint statement, Kelly and Joe Demarest, head of the FBI office in New York, denied reports that the questioning of Afzali and his alleged betrayal had caused a rift between the agencies." It's ugly when a pack of dogs are fighting over a small scrap in one food bowl. (edit) was "tread" a Freudian slip...."Don't tread on me"...

God, I love the internet...it smells like.. The Internet!

People might not realize there are hijackers that are no longer in prison. That's a good trivia question for SchlitzNGrins: "Name a US hijacker who is alive and no longer in prison". (edit) I think there's actually more than one. Although there are some that are still in prison. Amazing to think Zazi is facing life without parole. When the feds come to get my muriatic acid, at least it's good to know up front it's a three strikes situation....Go down fighting. Nothing to lose.

377 said "I can't buy OTC psudafed without a hassle because of the speed freaks wanting it for home cooking. Are hair care products next?" You know what's weird? I just got a haircut yesterday (i gave the 4' tall vietnamese woman $5 to keep things quiet). My wife bought a used mini Cooper. (really. 2007. white). I know she's in on the plot and just messing with my mind. I was tempted to stop in the hardware store after the haircut, just to see if I needed anything...but I steadied myself and avoided the temptation. I figured the feds were lurking near the 650 in-lb hi torque drills. We all know how you can use those.
-
I think I actually have a gallon or two of muriatic acid in my garage. Hmm...let's see, I'm sure there's at least a 50 lb bag of some nitrate-based fertilizer. I've got a few gallons of diesel fuel. Acetone: check, got that. (it's amazing how much cheaper it is when you buy by the gallon, compared to the quart cans) ice cubes: check It's really hell getting rid of old paint though. (edit) After you cook up the stuff in the hotel suite, how do you test it? I've seen videos where guys explode small quantites, but wouldn't that alarm other hotel residents? I mean if it's crack you smoke it. What do you do after you've cooked up in a hotel suite? All the rednecks on youtube seem to prefer basements, garages and the "woods" for large tests. (edit) I suppose we'll see new license requirements on hair salons, now that people know they distribute ingredients for WMDs to anyone with a twenty. (edit) Hey! I just thought of something. My garage is unlocked. Is someone out there going to rip me off and I get blamed? Hmm. Okay, here's my cover. I have 30 locks on my garage and a sophisticated security system. I'll just say they must have picked all the locks, using information from the internet. Whew..I'm safe.

http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_13410936 "The government moved this morning to drop the false statements charge in Colorado, in light of his indictment in New York. Mohammed Zazi is in the process of being released in Denver, on electronic surveillance, amid reports from 9News and others that he'd be subpoenaed to appear as a witness in New York. It was unclear where he would stay because landlords have moved to evict him and other relatives from their apartment." How can he be a "witness". (edit) Ah..it's the dad that's being released. My error. The others are disciples. Najibullah is the kingpin. "Varsity level". (edit) dad is out on bond today. How can that be safe?
-
this is reminding me of the classic teenage chemist attempts to make something that blows up. (edit) Actually I'm just noticing, it's not Zazi, but 3 other individuals that purchased the items separately? Maybe he did think he was going to be a terrorist. Interesting that this stuff qualifies as WMD... Note to Zazi disciples: next time, just shoplift the six bottles. That's what everyone does. I wonder how many WMDs you can make in the US from shit that's lying around? Who needs nukes, I guess. http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_13410936 The government in the documents also said that "individuals associated with Zazi purchased unusual quantities of hydrogen and acetone products in July, August and September 2009 from three different beauty supply stores in and around Aurora." One bought a one-gallon container of a product containing hydrogen peroxide and a bottle of acetone. Another bought acetone in September. Another bought bottles of Ion Sensitive Scalp Developer, according to the document. The FBI investigators found that Zazi rented the same hotel suite in Aurora on Sept. 6 and 7, where subsequent FBI testing revealed the presence of chemical residue in a vent above the stove, the document said. Bomb-making notes later found on Zazi's laptop, seized from his rental car by police in New York, included information about heating bomb components to make them highly concentrated, the document said. "A lawfully-authorized search" of the laptop indicated that, on Sept. 8, "Zazi searched the internet for locations of a home improvement store" in Queens and then searched a store's website for muriatic acid, a diluted version of hydrochloric acid - before renting a car. weird about the hotel suite. Not the obvious place to experiment with chemistry. Will be funny if the wedding cake thing turns out to related to a real wedding..hotel suite=wedding? :) (edit) oh I accidently overwrote one post: http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/zazi-arrest-nyc-terror-plot-suspect-bought-chemicals/story?id=8662211 Liquid Developer Clairoxide, Ms. Kay's Liquid 40 Volume and Ion Sensitive Scalp Developer were among the products the government said Zazi and other un-named coconspirators purchased this summer. An employee at one beauty product supply store told ABCNews.com that FBI agents had shown a photo spread of three men with beards and two young, blond-haired women. One of the men was recognized as Zazi, said the employee who asked that her name not be used. Authorities say Zazi and the other alleged terrorists actually tried to mix the chemicals at a hotel suite Zazi rented in the Denver suburb of Aurora on Sept. 6 and 7. Court documents say Zazi sent text messages to the others, "each communication more urgent in tone than the last - seeking to correct mixtures of ingredients to make explosives." more detail (I still don't understand why they needed the UHAUL truck). And where is this stuff now? Does it matter? http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=123857&catid=339 The indictment states there are surveillance videos and receipts that Zazi purchased six bottles of "Liquid Developer Clairoxide" from a beauty supply store in Aurora on July 25. The document goes on to describe how videos and receipts also show that on Aug. 28 Zazi purchased 12 32oz bottles of "Ms. K Liquid 40 Volume", another hydrogen peroxide based product form the same store. Records cited by the government in the indictment also show Zazi stayed at a nearby hotel suite in Aurora on Aug. 28 that was equipped with a stove to practice working with the chemicals. Others associated with Zazi made purchases at beauty supply stores, according to the indictment. One person purchased a one-gallon container of a product containing 20 percent hydrogen peroxide. A second person purchased an acetone product during the first week of September. Yet another person purchased 32 ounce bottles of "Ion Sensitive Scalp Developer" a product with high levels of hydrogen peroxide on three occasions over the summer of 2009. .. A search of Zazi's laptop computer shows on Sept. 8, the Aurora man did several searches of home improvement stores within the zip code 11354, the zip code for the Flushing neighborhood of Queens, New York where the FBI did the initial raids in the case on Sept. 14. He also did searches, according to the indictment, of several types of "muriatic acid" and viewed one type - "Klean Strip green Safer Muriatic Acid" - multiple times. According to the government this product claims to have lower fumes and is safer to handle than standard muriatic acid. Snowmman Industries would never rent a hotel suite to mix chemicals. Not fair to the other hotel customers.

no problem here. In terms of useful info -There is maybe 100 tidbits total of useful info in the history. The accuracy of the useful stuff was improved over time, but never summarized. There is no consensus anyhow. So it's not worth going back. If you want to look up something, the forum search tool might help, although you have to know what you're looking for. -I always tried to provide the source reference, while also copying info/images in case the source disappeared. -In terms of forum behavior...This thread has seen it all. There's nothing you can bring in terms of attacking the participants that hasn't been already done. Everyone is kind of battle hardened. -So in the context of all that, what's the point? Who knows. What is amazing, is that this simple little thing, continues to spawn B.S. Witness Jerry, who gets some slack because he's a true Vietnam vet. (you missed our long journey thru Apocalypse Now recently)...Witness the recent Nat Geo documentary, where the central theme, by citizen scientist (singular) was recanted by Tom K within hours of the broadcast. etc. In the big picture, Bruce's cow mutilations fit right in.
