For as long as I've had my gear I've cocked mine by pulling on the hackey with a toe on the bag, but recently I saw some packers doing it by pulling the kill out the base of the PC. Are there any benefits to doing it this way, or is it just a time saver for packers? -- Hook high, flare on time

Sounds good to me. I'll be spending my day at Skydive America, where they'll be donating money made from every jump ticket and tandem to the Red Cross.
