I agree, but it's important to take into account that Islam is not as heirachical and structured as the Catholic Church, for example; who exactly the, "they," to which you are referring is, in my opinion, much more specific than Islam as a whole. And that's what I'm trying to explain.

    Reminds me of a business idea I had once. I had a friend named, Billy, who had this issue with his HGH production's going to the shitter when he was 11. At the age of 29, he could still pass for a 5th grader. Pondering how to make good of his plight, I suddenly realized the cashcow potential this kid (note, way older than me) had: BillysBoots.com. Galleries and videos of his adventures, gallavanting in nothing but his cowboy boots. Plus interactive webcam. And maybe a hat. He didn't seem to take well the idea. Something about aversion to exploitation.

I figure if they were all jointly wearing a bomb, they'd be a little obvious, though. Your question is about as relevant as if the question was regarding non-black groups starting massive riots at the time of those in LA in 1992, or about non-Catholics blowing up tube stations in 1973: attributing the actions of a few to a much, much greater (and oftentimes circumstantial) whole. In the name of what? What, exactly, does it do for you to vilify Islam as a whole for the actions of a fragment of their membership?
