Me too. That's great. About 'being a natural'... I did 13 practice paper pulls. 13, instead of three or 4. No PFF option at the local dz, so it was just me and that damned paper towel tube... Such a great feeling! I once found $90 while snorkeling at the beach. Instant night out

I tip for good service, and tip WELL for great service. I tip my hairdresser because she RAWKS! No one else, really, but then, I don't have a personal postie, I don't get the paper delivered, I don't use taxis, and I pack for myself. Anyone else gets paid the same or more as I ever did - when I did retail for minimum wage - and the best tip I ever got there was that I had something caught in my teeth. That said, I do believe that excellent service that goes above and beyond deserves appreciation, and for that I will do something suitable. Poached eggs on toast, OJ, and a handful of fresh cherries. but I like the sound of those strawberry pancakes...

Water and iced tea, and probably some pop. Fruit. Sometimes a sandwich or Subway - but not much because my appetite is tiny while jumping. Something baked. One jumper or another will usually show up with cookies or cake or Timbits. Dinner could be a group BBQ, or pizza or chinese take-out, but always really late after the last load. Great way to end the day! Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. Heinlein

Kentucky Colonel Ingredients: 3 oz Bourbon 1/2 oz Benedictine 1 twist of Lemon peel Mixing instructions: In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes combine the bourbon and Benedictine. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist. Not a chance! Can I have Sunshine's instead? Thanks. It's a bit different for CSPA - I needed a minimum 16 seconds - but yeah I think it covers me for my 'C' license as well. Felt great to nail it - it took several frustrating attempts . Yeah, it's hard to imagine. You see movie stunts and skydiving videos and think 'those people are WAY braver/insaner than I am. I'd never be able to do that.' And then one day you find yourself in the rumble seat of a helicopter, 9,000 feet above the valley, clambering along the side while the pilot hovers, and on cue you let go... and the helicopter becomes a speck in the sky and you think, 'Damn! Did I really just do that?' When the opportunity comes along, you'll amaze yourself and do exactly what you did when you were doing student progression. You'll GO on GO! I can't wait to do a balloon jump. I got weathered out of mine at Eloy. Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. Heinlein

Never ever shake a lava lamp while in use.
Snowbird replied to crapflinger2000's topic in The Bonfire
If it's an authentic lava lamp (not a knock-off) and it remains foggy, you can freeze them. Let the lamp cool and all the wax bits settle completely. Stick it in the freezer over night. Take it out and let it warm up to room temperature completely. Turn it on and the wax should reform. I don't know if the knock-off ones can handle freezing.
