  1. Kristi has the taps installed too, 'cept hers flow sweeeeet milk, uh-oh... poor baby's gettin hungry again!
  2. Damnedest birdstrike I ever had was a duck (identified by bill/head parts implanted in leading edge) at about 3000'agl, (about 4000'msl)... the strange part, it was IMC, deep in the clouds. Descending into Tullahoma about 30 miles out. The bottom of the layer was reported to be about 200-500' all through the area. That duck had climbed through more than 2000' of thick heavy IMC. First and only duck I ever met with an Instrument rating. Chris I was doing 4-way one day and as we broke, 2 of us tracked by a buzzard at about 2000' agl.. (ok maybe it was 1500', ok... but no lower than a grand, I swear!)
  3. Do all you ladies agree with Lisababe or can I find a happy middleground with my new friend? Signed, Sleepless in Sasquatoon
  4. "Again, I'm assuming a PROFESSION speech writer would know this." hehehehe
  5. She likes your idea! I knew I could count on everyone here to help me solve the problem!
  6. Should I cross post in the "Women's only" forum? I'd really like to get a woman's opinion also. I don't think most guys can give me an objective voice.
  7. Hello all, While attending the PIA Symposium in Jacksonville, I met a girl that caught my eye. I had a few drinks and "got to know her a bit more personally". Here's my delimma. I'm happily married and have a new 2 month old girl. Life at home is terrific. But this new girl I will see again. I've never cheated before. It is uncomfortable, I feel guilty. But I will see her again. I have always been truthful with my wife and will always be. I intend to tell her that I have been with this other girl and intend to see her again. I know it will be difficult for her as it will be for me. I need HELP. Please, someone help me find the words that will lessen the pain. I can't sign my name as I wish to remain anonymous... but I've attached the picture of my new girlfriend.
  8. Jairo, the canopy you looked at (at the Symposium), has 1000+ jumps on the HMA lineset, most done at Eloy were the conditions are most severe for wear. (Jeff Provenzano's X21-91... white with blue x-braces). Wear is visible and announces itself. You probably also noticed that the control lines were replaced with spectra at about 700 jumps, (wouldn't have been my first choice because of shrinkage, but it was a quick field repair when Jeff did not have any HMA.) We can provide lower control lines in any material you desire... my choices would be HMA or Dacron. People you must inspect your equipment on a regular basis and repair/replace as required. These aren't bicycles were flying through the air. Symposium was great, long week, just got home... oh i'm tired! Chris Precision Aerodynamics
  9. "They said it couldn't be done... Icaurs started the EXtreme line, and once it became popular PD pulled out the patent and made them pay." No... Precision Aerodynamics is licensed to manufacture x-brace under PD's patent. Not Icarus, not anyone else in the U.S.A. Chris
  10. "It is only a matter of time before they become mandatory on all DZs." Never will a device like that be mandatory at my DZ.... Accepted yes, always. Chris Tennessee Skydiving Center Tullahoma, TN
  11. When it dries, it will do so inconsistently.... i.e. who knows what break strength that piece will have. (I thought BASE jumpers used 1/2" black electrical tape...) If it's the breakcord that most people use.... cotton... strength will vary when wet. But what are your parameters? If it's for base, why not use electrical tape anyway... it won't change properties in our jumping lifetime. Chris
  12. #1... DC-3 (hoping to have Mr. Douglas flying again real soon in Tullahoma!) #2... Everything else... But remember, they're all just elevators... I like my ride back to Earth the best! Chris
  13. You're baby is the cutest and smartest I've ever seen. Can I have a free canopy? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We'd go broke fer sure with that line... cause that's all I've heard from everyone... hehehe (Thanks for sayin it tho!)
  14. aol... xaosrocks but I work very hard all day and seldom have time to communicate with anyone other than work related... Chris actually we do have a number of customers who prefer live (free) conversation with respect to questions on our canopies... feel free to contact us anytime via IM...
  15. "A few more years and you can play twenty questions with her boyfriends while cleaning your shotgun" No... I have a son (27), daughter (7) and my newest girl (just broke the 4 day mark!)... and with all my children, I found a way around the shotgun/suitor situation... I sincerely hope all my children grow up liking girls! That'll make it much easier on this old Dad! Chris p.s.... geez... look at the post time, it's been 7 years since I knew these hours... more coffee, get another load of clothes done, then momma will be ready for breakfast... (see attached pic of momma at 1 day mark... poor thing's nursing, can't take advantage of the caffeine like I do!)
  16. my 'lil'st girl... Haley Michele Born December 03, 01:26 am, cst. 6 lb., 5.4 oz. 19.25" yep...as confirmed by pediatrician...world's cutest/smartest child ever born...
  17. as seen from another angle....
  18. I'm proud to announce the latest release... You certainly have heard of some of my previous releases...(Xaos21/27...Fusion, etc.) But this one makes me even prouder... the seed was sewn only 280 days ago. While that seems like a very short time, the development has progressed faster than I could ever imagine... This model already shows higher speed than anything else I've witnessed. It has limited openings but incredible output. See attachment below... Chris Precision Aerodynamics, Inc. Release Date: December 03, 2002... 01:26 AM C.S.T.
  19. Just call us here at Precision... We can provide HMA in all sizes we use... Chris (was that a sneaky way to show off my new little girl or what?!)
  20. woops.. forgot to attach our newest model... Chris
  21. "Would Precision Aerodynamics reline a Velocity?" No, ...Talk with the Manufacturer, PD... they are the best for service on their canopies. "small article that says PD's experimenting with this option, but then the article goes on to state that the life span of HMA lines are only 100 jumps." These canopies are cascaded lines using the smaller HMA sizes... Production canopies are using only the smallest HMA in Continuous linesets... We also have a few prototype canopies with the cascaded sets... and expect the life of the linesets to be much shorter... Chris Precision Aerodynamics, Inc. p.s. checkout my newest model... just released 2 days ago!!!
