I will have to look for Sluggo bait. I have used other brands and found Deadline works well. With all of our rain, it too has to be re-applied often, but if it saves my flowers, it's worth it! The picture of your poppy is beautiful. I have an occasional Mole that will tunnel through my yard. I haven't found anything to get rid of them, we just try to get them to 'move along' to the neighbors yard! Oh my gosh, that's a scary thought! I can just see the cats running from my dog as he chases after them! He would wait for this cat to jump onto our fence and try to come into 'his' yard! Jan -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

We felt 'pulled into' the watch, and found ourselves waiting to see if the light had been turned on. We lost our dog last year and it has been very hard. This has just brought the memories back a little bit more. It is very hard to lose a pet, but this watching over for the neighbors 'light on' is difficult. I wish we hadn't inquired about the light. For over a couple of weeks we noticed our neighbor had an odd light on all night in their laundry room. In the daytime it would be off. We finally asked him about it and he told us their cat was not doing well and they knew he was not getting better. They were keeping a light on for the cat (it might have been a heat lamp or something). They were undecided about several issues they would be facing when their cat decided to 'pass on'. So now, knowing that, everynight we would notice if the light was still on. It's like, we too, were watching over this cat. Well, tonight the light isn't on. I don't know how to get rid of gophers, but how did you manage to get rid of the snails and slugs in your yard? Did you use slugbait? I hate slugs, I don't have snails. As long as someone posts for Chris or Michele! I thought Chris had mentioned his brother would but having someone here call and then posting would be much faster. Thanks Rosa! Update--Through the American Cancer Society, there is funding for those with a life threatening disease, with no medical coverage and not making enough money. So, tomorrow, she's sees the surgeon. They fit her in immediately since she has lost three siblings to cancer. I hope all this goes well for her and all of us. What a relief it was to her to finally get some help. My favorite not-hot sauce is Pesto!!! YumYumYum. Basil and garlic pesto is my favorite, but sundried tomato pesto and cilantro-garlic pesto are right behind it! edit to add: B-B-Q sauce and Sweet-Sour sauce! I am so so sorry. This is a true parent's nightmare. I know exactly what you mean when you say "everytime I close my eyes, I see him". I hope that your son recovers fully and finds the help he needs so desparately. My prayers are with you, your family and your son.
