  1. You're only a "koon-ass" if you call them, "craw-daddies."
  2. . Skydivers are never homeless as long as they have a tent
  3. My boyfriend home from Venezuela, four nookie-sessions and a Brahma beer t-shirt.....you know a man loves you when...... Seriously, it was a WONDERFUL Easter and I was glad to have my best friend back home with me. Rolling Rock beer~~~my FAVORITE commercial! "Make that four Rolling Rocks." "I'm having a good time." "Me, too." Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  4. I wouldn't take it as an insult. I find most guys can't really tell. A lot of guys who say they like the "natural" look, don't really know what that is b/c so many products out their strive to be un-noticable. Sometimes I can't even tell. I won't mention her name but a skydiver I jumped with the other day told me she wears it and I had no clue. Usually, though, unless it's a bright red lipstick or purple eye-lids......most guys don't really know how to tell a truly "natural" look when they see one. My boyfriend, for instance, sometimes can't tell whether I'm wearing it or not. I don't really take it as a compliment or otherwise......he's really indifferent about it....wear it, don't wear it, he doesn't care
  5. Love yourself. Love your body, and have fun with it. Die your hair pink. Paint your toe nails funky colors. Get a tattoo and pierce your nips. Just enjoy yourself. That's all life's about. Who made the rule that we can't accent, show off and have a good time with what God gave us? If I want to wear a G-string, I'll wear a G-string, and I'll give you some competition on a wakeboard while I wear it. Geez, just HAVE FUN! Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  6. He he he....you're right about the grin
  7. Not bad, Dove. I think the numbers would be different if we were allowed to pick numbers higher than 9. Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  8. Oh, he does VERY well down there......oh, wait, you mean Venezuela. There were 34 competitors, he was in 15th place the first day and would have been in about 13th place after the last day but he got a zero on one jump b/c his feet were not below some line so he couldn't score after that. If his feet had been below that line, he'd have been in 13th place, overall. He ended up in 24th place b/c of that. He's bummed but I told him.......it's like placing 24th in the Olympics....out of the whole world who tries to be good enough to get there, only a few make it. So just to be good enough to be there, he's already won. Anyways....he'll still get a reward.......TONIGHT! You're right about the busy fingers.....must keep them occupied.....otherwise..... Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  9. NEENER, NEENER, NEEEENER! ChromeBoy told me the secret. He he he.....ohh, this is good. Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  10. Oh she was wearing it all right...but I'm sure your senses were focused on *other* things at the time. Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/

Ha ha ha....who needs a pro-track? Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  12. Eww, so that's what that smell was. J/K, girl! At least your fragrance fits you

    What to do?

PRO-TRACK~~Hey, JT, you're no newbie, you started jumping when I did. Pro-Track is a device like a Dytter that beeps in your ear at set altitudes but also records your speed, freefal time, etc. You can download the information onto your computer. I have a Dytter but want a Pro-Track, as well, so I can have two devices, in case, one doesn't go off. Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  14. he he he....yup, JT....I'm heading to Deland in about two hours to pick him up
  15. Geez, 12 hours earlier and you would have run into about 32 skydivers coming home from Venezuela
  16. X....it always comes at the end of the alphabet. Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  17. Oh geez, mine is 721. I hope that's a good thing
  18. Agreed that for some reason, it aids to some people's insecurities. However, sometimes it's just a matter of having fun with yourself and what God gave you and not necessarily covering up any insecurities. I believe God has given everyone their characteristics to get full enjoyment out of them. God gave me eyelashes so I could have fun and paint them if I want to. I couldn't begin to count the # of skydivers at my DZ whose hair is an "un-natural" color...there is every color of the rainbow represented. I don't think if I were to ask them, "Hey, why'd you dye your hair pink?" their answer would be because they are "insecure" about having brunette hair or blonde hair or whatever. It's just fun. Some people dye their hair pink or wear a funky outfit or put on red lipstick or whatever, just for fun. Why try to make it any more complicated? Like I said, I agree that sometimes it covers insecurities but I don't believe in automatically stereotyping everyone who dyes their hair, etc, into that category. Some people even view it as a way of expressing themselves or a form of art, no different than getting a tattoo, which I also have. I love my body and I will have fun with it any way I want to. It's a simple as that
  19. I wear Victoria's Secret Angels "Heavenly" fragrance occasionally. Billy Von~~Your definition of superficial seems a little extreme. I don't do anything to my hair but I enjoy wearing some makeup and spritzing on something I like the smell of. I don't think that makes me, or any other woman who does the same thing, superficial. I love what God gave me. I like wearing mascara b/c my eye lashes are blonde and I think it brings out the color in my eyes. I like wearing perfume because almost everyone, excluding yourself, enjoys things that smell nice. Haven't you ever lit candles because you enjoy how they smell? Do you consider that a superficial item because it changes the natural smell of your room? To each their own is what I believe as well. It seems to me, women can not win either way. If they fix themselves up, men say, "Why don't you spend less time getting ready?" and if women never take any time to fix themselves up, men say, "Why don't you dress up once in a while?" Maybe you are the exception and bravo if you are. I just feel your definition of superficial is a bit extreme. It takes me an extra 15 minutes after I get out of the shower to put a little makeup on and spray some perfume. It's not like I spent thousands of dollars having my lips enhanced or breasts enhanced or fat sucked out. And hey, if there's women who want to do that, that's fine too. I really don't care either way. I think whatever makes you happy, go for it
  20. My mom is agnostic. My father was raised Baptist but he never spoke of religion when I was little. My aunt is Mormon and calls me a "rough-necked delinquent." My grandmother, a mathematical genious, solved some equations and determined I was a living angel. Try to figure that family history out
  21. Chromeboy~~That's a good idea; signing it. It has been passed along but I didn't sign it and neither did my friend who gave it to me. Perhaps I'll have to start a new one. It's amazing after reading it the things around you that you notice, like coincidences (there's no such thing.) I just really love that every existence in this world is tied together and every religion, theory, ect. is correct in a sense. It'd really be beautiful if all the world were to read that book....maybe world peace wouldn't be so far-fetched after that. It's been a year and a half and my old AFF instructor still tells me it's the best *tip* he ever received, even though another student he had at the same time as me gave him a $200 tip. I thought of it because of the things he would say to me when he was teaching me....it kept reminding me of the book which I knew was no coincidence and I needed to give him a copy. I kept fininshing everything I was supposed to do on my level early and so I'd just go ahead and do the sequence for the next level which I thought was just going to practice for me but after I did that twice, he said he really didn't see the point in me spending the money for the last two levels and graduated me. I was stoked because that left me some money to buy some gear. I knew I was supposed to tip but when that other girl gave him $200, I felt pretty bad. It makes me feel so good that that book has made a difference in his life. Money isn't everything, which is a good thing because most skydivers don't have any. Ha ha ha! Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  22. Jumperpaula....yea, "Brave New World" was one of the few required readings I actually enjoyed in high school. ChromeBoy~~So you must love the prophecies as much as I did! I gave a copy of "Celestine Prophecy" to my AFF instructor after I graduated (he let me graduate after 5 levels so I gave it to him as a thank you gift.) He said it was the best book he's ever read and has changed his life. A hippie friend of mine gave it to me, I read it in two days, and then passed it to a friend of mine and bought my own copy. It's wonderful. I love that it doesn't go against any religion but ties EVERYTHING together into one big existence. Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  23. Ha ha ha......I had to read almost every one of those in middle school...geez....my list could be the same as yours since it's been about that long since I've read a book. I read mostly school textbooks and magazines. That last book I read, and it doubles as one of my favorites is "The Celestine Prophecy."....I LOVE and try to live by it. A book I read in 5th grade is still one of my favorites, "A Wrinkle in Time." My last favorite book would have to be "Brave New World."....Scary, that one's not far from becoming reality. The last five things I've read would have to be: Time magazine (I subscribe) Fortune magazine New York Times Sociological Theory Sex Roles: A Journal of Research A lot of books posted on the lists, I would love to read.....hopefully, after I graduate I'll have more time and might be able to begin to experience what it's like to read for fun. Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  24. My two cents: Number of jumps, license letter, ect. are really no indication of the skill level of the skydiver. I haven't applied for any of my licenses yet. I don't see the point. I've been to several DZs and none cared. After reviewing my log book, they could determine I was fine. I will be taking all my tests at the same time soon; only because there's a beach demo jump I'd like to do in two months and the organizers are requiring a license. Getting a license will be a nice thing to have. However, I think its silly that some people think a license or number of jumps are valid measurements for capability.
