When exactly will everything be going on? The ad says the 26th through 31st but is there anything in addition to that, like the 25th or Feb. 1? I'm working the 27th-31st from 8:30 to 5 so I can only come on the weekend days and so far the only weekend day, I know of, is the 26th. Thanks a bunch....tell me what to look for, too. I'm easy to spot, loong blonde hair, and rest assure, Skymama CAN NOT nide in the shadows...you will still notice her, she's too beautiful not to I don't plan on paying the $95 to hear everything but there is a $5 day pass and whatever that gets me to see, that's what I'll be seeing Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

He he he...OK, at the risk of sounding like a princess...here goes: I REALLY want to BASE, but in FL, all there is to BASE from is towers that you have to climb. It's very tiring and I'm not a fan of climbing, though I've repelled a LOT and I LOVE repelling. So, spoiled me, wants either a building and ride the elevator, a big cliff and ride the helicopter, or a bridge and drive up there to jump off of. Ha ha ha. I heard the cave jump is an intermediate BASE level so I need to get quite a few BASE's in so I can do that, b/c the CAVE is my #1 desired spot to go. I really, really, REALLY want to do the cave! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Deal! As I'm starting my new job in a week, I have NO IDEA when I'll have vacation time, but I'm sure I'll be able to take a weekend, etc. I do have weekends off, another part of why I'm loving this job! I also got two free round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental US for graduation and I want to go to Vegas and gamble, skydive, and BASE from this place near there that I heard was a GREAT BASE spot so maybe I'll see JT, again. I know he's missed me terribly since he left overseas. Ha ha ha Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

the parachutist symposium in Jacksonville, FL. (about 20 minutes away from where I live on Atlantic Beach) or the Swoop Festival in Panama City, FL.? The symposium is Jan. 26--31. There will be jumps all week and helicopter jumps as well. The Swoop Festisval is not for a while but I'm VERY EXCITED that the PST finally has a stop on the East Coast in Panama. It's in April and there will be beach jumps for regular jumpers, too, a helicopter, and plenty of normal-altitude jumps. I'm not advertising, but rather, am hoping I will get to meet some of you at these events. It's not often I get to go to "special events" like Eloy, blah, blah, blah...and these are the two closest things I know I will be going to. Anyone else? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Geez, you people make me sound like a ghost! I feel like I need Skymama to defend me, here....I really am there every week! Ha ha ha. December was a chaotic month, though, with finals, job-hunting, graduating, etc. so I wasn't there as regularly as I normally am. I hit Palatka once instead and went on weird days to Deland, but 99% of the time, I'm there every Saturday. Now that I"m done with school, this year, I want to make trips to other DZs as well. I havne't been able to do that before, and have only jumped in Deland, Palatka and the Deep Woods Ranch. I want to go to Z-hills REALLY BAD and meet Dove and gang. I"m about to post another thread about two other events I'm going to....hopefully some of you guys can make it! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

oh, you're one of "those gripper" jumpers He he he...j/k, Phil. Actually, a lot of times, besides Skymama and me, the incredible, incomperable, amazing jceman is there, too with his lovely wife Lynn. I love these two! As well as rdutch, tbs? (i forget your dz.com screenname tammer) and others, so come on over! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Didn't you PM me about that Kev? I was there on Christmas Day and the weekend before that, but I think you were there sometime...oh, I forget. I'm sorry we missed each other! I thought you told me you'd be there on Christmas day, too, so if you were, I don't know what to say? I'm usually at the DZ (Deland) every Saturday. Once in a REALLY BLUE moon, I'll go to Skydive Palatka if I've got a lot to do and want to get there, jump my ass off, and get home. We tend to stay longer in Deland. When will you be back down? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Yes, I'm a sucker for ALL the stupid shows, especially "reality" ones on television. I think it's the sociology minor in me that likes to analyze what these people will do/react to next. I can't say I'm a fan of Trista but I LOVE that the woman's in charge and the men are graveling for her affection this time, instead of the other way around. Nice! As Val said, from Skyventure, Z-hills, Deland, Titusville (by the space center) and Lake Wales are all about the same distance, give or take 10 minutes. If you know any jumpers (LIKE ME AND SKYMAMA IN DELAND!) at any of these DZs, I'd suggest you go to that one, or maybe hit more than one Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I'm with ya, Val. Being the victim of a small bladder (aren't all us girls?) I've learned to be able to pee ANYWHERE; In a bush, By a tree, In a parking lot by an SUV, In a cup, I don't care, Have to go, I'll go anywhere In someone's yard Hope they don't see Pull off the road I have to pee I'll go here I can't be patient But I won't go in a nasty gas station That's where I draw the line....I'll take a bush over some dirt/grime/germ ridden gas station ANY DAY! He he he...I'm lucky, I think some girl before me trained BZ well, whether it was a mom or a g/f, who knows, but whoever it was, THANK YOU! I've never had to put the seat down Don't tell BZ, though, but I don't mind putting it down, either It's really no big deal to me, but SO SWEET that I don't have to Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

To add to the ADHD part...a lot of research has shone more than half of children "diagonsed" don't have it but have another problem, disregarded, such as a sleeping problem that caused the lack of focus and attention. Once the sleep is corrected, the children were found to no longer have "ADHD". Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Have you guys seriously never heard of fried ice cream??? I LOVE IT! You typically can get it at mexican restaurants. The ice cream starts super-chilled, then they sprinkle this sweet sugar/cinnamon batter mix on top of it and put it in some kind of oven for 3 seconds so the stuff hardens on the outside, but inside is the yummy ice cream. I LOVE IT!! lOVE IT! LOVE IT! Oh, and I hope I'm not the only one, but I think the fried twinkie sounds good. I'll try anything at least once. You never know. If it's edible, I'll try it. Y por eso los grandes amores de muchos colores me gustan on mi. I forget how to spell it but I had to sing 10 songs in 10 different languages at Disney when I was younger and that was one of them.
