I've read some of the replies, haven't read them all. I BRIEFLY considered this as well when I first started jumping (they were looking for a certain physical criteria, which I matched and were offering a LOT of $$$)...ha ha ha...go figure...I opted NO b/c it's NOT as simple for a girl to donate as it is for a guy to donate his little swimmers. The hormones alone can cause' crazy reactions. I'm assuming your friend is a big girl and can make her own decision. To each their own. I would say, it's up to you as her friend to be there for her no matter what she decides, even if you don't agree with it. I can't say that I do or don't. OK...While I'm sure I'm alone in this and don't want to start an argument...I see the validity for this case. While I think it's ABSURD the people sueing Mickey D's b/c they're getting fat (ridiculous!), I do see the point in the lawsuit over the hot coffee. If the coffee was so hot, that when it spilled on the woman, it caused 3rd degree burns, that is TOO HOT and IS McDonald's fault, in my opinion. It's not McDonald's fault that the woman spilled in the first place but accidents happen and the coffee was way too hot. Try spilling any other cup of coffee on you, and while you may say, "Ouch" it will not cause a third degree burn. There, I said it! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

When I bought my first car at 15, even though I bought it, my father wouldn't let me drive it until I changed the oil, changed a tire, and learned all about the parts....I even changed the CV joints on my old car myself. 4. Last time I was pulled over on my way home from jumping, I gave the officer a skydiving business card (for my DZ) and wrote my name on the back and said I'd get him a discount on the jump if he let me go....he did, and the proceeded to ask me a MILLION whuffo questions...but I'd rather sit through that than have paid the tic! Thank you While I do possess a bit of a maternal instinct w/ friends, loved ones and ESPECIALLY animals, I have never wanted children. I have tutored children, taught them to swim in my swim business I had for two years, volunteered at the Boys and Girl's Club, etc. but I'm VERY happy to give them back when I'm done. I'd make a GREAT "Auntie Carrie" but none of my own. Just as much as it can be an unselfish act to HAVE them, I think it can be very unselfish to NOT HAVE them. FUNNY STORY: At Panera Bread one morning, while waiting in their infamous bagel line, the CUTEST little boy was looking at the floor, holding on to his mom's leg, who was wearing jeans and pumps, and jumping around on the tile squares. When she moved up, so did I, I was also wearing jeans and stilletto boots, he kept jumping, only grabbed my leg on accident and was holding on, jumping around. He was so cute and so sweet and I thought, "Now, why don't I like this again?" Same kid, when mom told him he couldn't have a cookie and needed to pick out a muffin, or something instead forf breakfast, started SCREAMING and whinning and carrying on...I thought, "Oh, Yup. Well, maybe it's cause' I don't want kids, but that doesn't apply to me. Money is nice, but love is better and if you have the two, more power to you, but you really only truly need the later. I'm attracted to guys who put their heart and care into whatever they do, money or not, as long as they're doing something with themselves. Oh, but back on the subject, I'm sure whatever woman he picks/picks him won't be TOO dissappointed b/c with all the publicity the show will get, they're bound to get some kinda deal out of it, 50M or not. Ey yi yi...despite being one of the "smart" kids, I was also a MAJOR tomboy in elementary and middle school and was ALWAYS in the principal's office...ha ha ha. They even gave paddle spankings my K-grade year, still in elementary school.(Hmmm, spankings!..he he he) It was 1985. Been taken into custody once...was let go
