Whooo-hoooo! I'm really excited, b/c it's kinda like old times, AND, if we can get a swoop pond there, which I'm sure we can, then it will be a place really close for all the Deland swoopers to practice (only about 1.5 hours North of Deland). BZ might even start doing video there, like he used to for Skydive Daytona. There are so many possibilities, not to mention, affiliating skydiving w/ other extreme sports, as well, like motocross. I can't WAIT to get on one of those suckers! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Wooo-hoooo. It's going to be called Jacksonville Extreme sports. There is a website, too, up now, I think: jaxextremesports.com. I think that's it. There's also going to be other extreme sports set up around the area there, for motocross, etc. Anyhooo, the guy is super-nice, bought up all the old packing tents, student gear, tandem rigs, bus, etc. from the old Skydive Daytona, and may even put in a swoop pond! I LOOOOOVE Deland so I will still jump there, too, but it will be nice to have a DZ only 15 minutes from my house, vs. Deland is 1.75 hours drive every weekend. The grand opening is on the 25th, the same weekend as the symposium and jceman will probably be driving the bus back and forth from the symposium to the new DZ (about 5 minutes away). So if you're going to be in town, come jump w/ me there on the 25th! Here is some other info e-mailed to me: They're going to be flying a Skyvan, Caravan, & Helicopter from the 24th-31st. Just two jumps but they were both fun as hell! I had my reserve test jumped and then repacked in the morning so I wasn't able to get up in the sky until mid-afternoon. The two jumps I did were a 5-way freefly (head-down, sit and stand) and a 9-way tracking jump. I was stoked b/c before this past weekend, the largest # of tracking people I did a jump w/ was 3. I was right near the leader the whole time until the very end. Wooo hooo! Next weekend I'm doing a Mr. Bill! Vladi is going to hook me up tandem w/ my rig over top of the tandem harness and hook me up to him backwards, then jump, pull, lift me up, unhook the harness and WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I'm stoked! Yey, Sunshine Speaking of rigger's tickets, whenever I pop my reserve to be re-packed I like to save the seal for good luck, cause' I didn't need to loose it (I know it's weird)...I finally asked my rigger yesterday why his seal says "RMV" when those are not his initials. He explained they are assigned and said, they go in order of the alphabet, and now they've moved on to #s like RM1. The funny part was, he said someone, somewhere must have the assigned seal letters, "SEX" HA HA HA! I wonder who's seal that is? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

He he he...I definitely see the funny! I didn't have ANY pictures online except from my old DZ, they posted pictures from the Halloween boogie, where the original icon pic was taken. When I cut and shrunk it (damn computers) it was blurry and I'm too much of an idiot to know how to fix that. That was the only picture of me, I had online. Thank God, for my new digital camera. It's one of those pocket-ones; not high quality pictures, but serves the purpose. And finally I have a new icon picture, although, I couldn't fit all of my hair into this one. He he he, EXACTLY! Hence the self-given DZ.com name, PLFXpert. I don't think I stood up but three times in my first 50 jumps (I started posting right around when I just graduated AFF, two years ago). But, I WAS ALWAYS ON TARGET. Ha ha ha. I jsut couldn't stand, damnit! I've got it down, now, but I still have my moments and I tend to laugh my ass off, rather than worry about others, I'm too busy laughing at myself I will, however, get pissed at myself, if I wanted to do something new in FF and I screwed up.
