  1. We probably took the same classes/research. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  2. I'm not saying the statistic is wrong, but statistics can only account for what was proven false or true and even then a lot of times it's one person's word against another's which makes it very difficult to tell. I learned in more than a few classes that most statistics will tell you more crime happens in poor neighborhoods. This is a false statistic however. Crime rate is the same in poor and affluent neighborhoods but the crime in poor neighborhoods si more visible to the eye than crime that goes on in affluent neighborhoods that is more easily kept under raps. The analogy is not related at all to the subject, but jsut proves that not all statistics are reliable or what they seem. I agree that there are WAY more real cases than false ones (talking about sexual harrasment, not rape), but I do think recently there has been a surge in women being overly sensitive to harmless banter in the workplace and getting people fired over it. That is opinion, however. I have no statistics to back me up. But the behavior I saw the three women who work w/ me really made me ashamed for them. They simply did not like the guy and he was fired. 3. I will go back and edit to clarify. I was referring to sexual harrasment, not rape. Women getting pised b/c a man opened a door for her or whatever or women at work crying wolf to get a man fired. That I sympathize with b/c it happend at my current job and the girls did it just b/c they didn't like the guy. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  4. I see it's mostly guys responding to this. I think all these new sexual harrasment cases, etc. have made it EXTREMELY difficult for men to even breathe around a women w/out worrying about the consequences. Unfortunately, a few women ruin it for the real cases that happen. I feel sorry for men AND women. Not to attack any one response, however, I think it SUCKS if you really believe after a "certain point" of arrousing a man it's not OK for a woman (or man) to say "NO!". Yea, it sucks and it would have been a lot nicer if she had said so earlier but whatever. It's still no and should be respected and OBEYED! I think the whole, "the no should be forceful or she needs to push you away" or whatever is bullshit. Again, I sympathize with the men b/c there are some false sexual harrasment claims out there and some women crying wolf (not referring to rape). But we can't let those people make a mokery out of something very serious and life-altering to the people that things really happen to, man or woman. No is no, no matter when she says it. But in reference to the court case mentioned, "I should go home" isn't "No" in my book, either. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  5. Yup, I quit all that when I was 11, and it wasn't hard to give up burgers but BACON....ooooh, the smell of it still drives me wild but I haven't touched it. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

  9. Three questions: 1. Who is Colin? 2. Is he a stud (trying to help Skymama out) 3. When will he be in Deland? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  10. I don't eat Wilbur or Bessy. I do eat chicken (I FRICKEN LOVE WINGS) and seafood (mostly salmon and SUSHI) but recently I quit eating lobster b/c the least they could do is chop its head off and give it a swift death, rather than boil the poor lil' guy alive and listen to him scream. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  11. Yea, there are some things you can't skimp on Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  12. He heh e....yea, a couple guys at my DZ have one. They're pretty cool. If I were to buy a bike though, it would be a Harley. AFter all, they sell the coolest clothes J/K Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  13. I'll be at the new DZ on Sat. 25th, and Sunday 26th but won't be at the symposium or new DZ the 27th--31st as I'm working my new job. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  14. Oh, we're the same! I use cheapo Shampoo 'cause it's all the same, and more expensive conditioner, b/c let's face it, the cheap kind doesn't work, I've tried it all. I usually buy Pantene conditioner from Sams. It works great and it's only $6 for a 32 oz. bottle there. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

  18. I dont' have an answering machine at home; just caller ID. BZ and I feel that machines are silly. We can see who called by the ID, and anyone who knows us well enough for us to want to talk to, will call our cell phone if we don't answer at home. Therefore, the only people who would leave a message are the same people we're trying to avoid talking to anyways...why would we want to hear their message? 19. Well, I have long hair and I use the cheapo, $1 a bottle Suave coconut shampoo. I always smell like coconuts. I only wear perfume once in a while. When I do, I smell 'Heavenly" from Victoria's Secret. As a funny side note...I was out and BZ got me a package of it for X-mas. He laughed b/c I was more excited about the box it came in than the perfume (it was gold suede w/ gold and white lace and suede top). I love cool boxes to put things in Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  20. Oooo, yes....first on my list is buying a house, then a couple HARLEYS!!! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    EW EW EW!!!

I am a part-veg. I used to be full-on but my body needs more protein than supplements can provide. I eat a lot of salmon and chicken now. But, there is this one commercial that drives me nuts; first they show a cute little chicken walking around going "bock bock bock" and then they show a big chicken sandwich. It's funny but so sad. It makes me cry. Now I can't eat the damn sandwich. Ignorance is bliss sometimes Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  23. He he he...I know, I know...I'm very athletic, but I HATE riding a bike. It makes me so tired. I enjoy riding on the beach in the morning sometimes, but I hate going uphill, against the wind....it's just not my thing. It makes me hot and irritated I can swim all day, spike the hell out of a volleyball, catch air on a wakeboard, you name it...but NO BICYCLES PLEASE! I'd rather let a MOTORCYCLE do the work! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  24. I smell of sugar and spice and everything nice Truthfully, I smell like coconuts. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
