  1. Gordon Ramsey, that's it. "HOW MANY MINUTES HAVE I GOT ON THE SOUFFLE'???!!!" "BUTTON IT!!!" "SHUT IT DOWN!!!" "YOU ARE FUCKING USELESS!!!" I seriously got some sick pleasure out of that show. I really miss it. Walt, believe it or not I don't watch Project Runway For some reason this comes as a surprise to just about everyone who knows me Heidi Klum, though undeniably beautiful, annoys me I have seen America's Next Top Model once or twice and find that hilarious (we don't get UPN in our area, strangely, so I've only seen it when it has re-ran on VH1) and have you ever seen Kathy Griffin's hilarious impression of Tyra on that show? It's hilarious. I love Kathy Griffin. She is fucking hilarious! I don't really watch a lot of TV and what I watch is usually pointless Edit: Did I say I don't watch a lot of TV? I guess that depends on ones definition of "a lot" Mostly between the hours of 7 and 9 p.m. and Sunday afternoons....that's when I once caught an America's Next Top Model marthon and laughed my ass off. Billy about pulled his hair out, then went out on a Harley ride Hey, it was the first Sunday I wasn't stuck watching football Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  2. Did anyone else besides me watch this show when it was on? Apparantly there is a new show (I haven't seen, nor wish to) called "Next Top Chef" or something. Anywho, it made me think I really miss that Hell's Kitchen. I absolutely LOVED the asshole Chef Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  3. Bumping this. After last night, I have my 6 fave girls (actually I have 5, but had to add a 6th since that's what they're oging for): Most to Least Favorite: 1. Mendeza (she is GORGEOUS & has an amazing voice) 2. Kelly Pickler 3. Paris Bennett 4. Rocker girl (can't remember her name but she's the best rocker girl they've ever had) 5. Girl who went 2nd last night (can't remember her name either, but beautiful, sang older song) 6. Edit: Skymonkey said her name is Catherine Mcphee and I believe everything he says. Girl who sang "Fever" and wore simple outfit with long wavy dark hair & fair skin (she has great voice and I love that she isn't over the top, but just naturally beautiful) Kinnik Sky and Alya (the basketball girl) can go home. Thank you Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  4. I have read this, too. Unfortunately there is the same wealth of info on its benefits, thyroid included. But I concede you have probably read far more than I have I have annual physicals and always have my thyroid checked. The doctor looks at me funny when I say "yes" to blood work, etc. at age 25, but I think it's important, especially since a lot of things can be rooted in the thyroid but misdiagnosed as something else. I'm not a hypochondriac, but I do care very much about taking care of myself and I feel better having everthing checked each year. I mean, it's only $20 co-pay. I don't understand why people with insurance still don't check themselves regularly.
  5. VH1 Cribs... It's an antioxidant powerhouse, and worth every penny. Go to Costco. I go once/month--Costco carries a lot of healthy products, actually.
  6. Oops, forgot this. Gosh, I drink a LOT of fluids I only drink 1 full glass of Pomegranate/day though. (Except I don't add water, RL) It's $10/bottle at Publix, but Costco has it for $6 so when I go, I buy 5 or 6 bottles of it Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  7. YESSS! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  8. My answer would read: Me, I can't go a whole day without my Tazo chai tea and some form of coffee. 6 a.m. Starbucks Iced Venti Vanilla Soy Latte Afternoon Starbucks Iced Venti Soy Chai If I don't stop in, in the afternoon, I have Bolthouse Farms Soy Chai. The rest of the day WATER all the way. I don't even know how much I drink---I would estimate two gallons. I'm not kidding Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  9. What do you do? Whatever you want to.
  10. When I was MUCH younger (like 13) and had a pager I used to use that (on vibrate of course) Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  11. A socket wrench Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  12. I like them b/c they're easy to put on. They stay on well, too. They're super-comfy as they are the Air kind. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  13. "Annelle, you can take your Bible and shove it where the sun doesn't shine." Weeza, Steal Magnolias Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  14. What's a sneaker? Oh wait, those are those shoes people wear w/ no heel and a cushiony sole that cover & protect the entire foot, right? Yea, I don't have any OK, I lied. I have running shoes & a pair of Cole Hann tennis-like shoes (they have no back) that I wear to dog park
  15. Well, you said she's a bitch....I see swooping as your 2nd discipline on your profile... Hooker Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  16. Ellen Degeneres, b/c she makes me laugh and seems like fun. But, I once had a guy (of course) ask me if I had to get with a girl who would it be. I chose Gina Gershan and still would Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  17. Not really. I have friends I haven't actually spoken to in some time....we've left each other long voicemails once/month back & forth, but that's it Same thing with some friends & e-mail. People get busy...I don't take it personnally. Most of the time I feel obligated to call back/respond. If it's e-mail, I'll definitely respond. But most of my friends know that I'm generally not great at the whole "keeping in touch on a regular basis" thing. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  18. The two girls I was happy to see go. I think I was happy to see the two guys, as well, but I can't remember. I think it was "Sway" and that crooner guy. Fine by me. I thought it was kind of mean on Wednesday night's episode when they showed a picture of Chicken Little next to that one kid. I think he shoudl go next, but still, he's so cute and sweet and I didn't like them sticking a big picture of Chicken Little on the screen Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  19. Yes, I would agree about diet. I run 2-6 miles/day 4 days, occasionally 5 days/week at 5 a.m. I stretch before and after, no calisthenics. But, still...feeling that tired, etc. from what you've described seems like you're lacking in other areas like diet & sleep. Sleep is when your body repairs itself, and if I have to be up earlier than my 5 a.m. run, or if I've had to go to bed late for any reason, I don't run. Diet is also essential---someone mentioned staying hydrated, which is great. I drink, geez, I don't know, 20 glasses of water/day? Just some food for thought Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  20. I love you, RL! I've tried the "healthy" germs arguement, the "need to expose youself" arguement, etc. She's still all What about Bob? about everything, though. But, I love her just the same. I've noticed my friends are all smart & a little crazy at the same time. She graduated top of her class in a Masters in Buisness, and she's a complete stubborn germaphobic freak at the same time I can't help myself....I find crazy interesting Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  21. Ya'll are SO about to get another soap box out of me. I majored in magazine journalism (and sociology & psychology). For all of those majors I had to do COUNTLESS studies and write COUNTELSS thesis papers, qualitative, quantitative, etc. While I would have loved a variety, it was impossible to do so and I stuck with related subjects so as to transpose material from one of my papers to another for a different class (hey, you can't plagerize yourself). Anywho....Seventeen magazine...which actually targets 12-15-year-olds, NOT 17-year-olds, has breast implant ads in it! No fashion magazine I read has a breast implant ad, but a magazine targeted at 15-year-olds does???? I have never tanned in a tanning bed. I used to be a swim instructor and for about 2 years I was pretty tan (depsite lotion---I only used SPF 8 back then b/c I, too, liked the tan look). Now, I couldn't be more opposite. While I enjoy a "healthy glow" it comes from a self-tanner bottle, and althought I'm out on the beach a lot, I now use an SPF 25 block with frequent re-applications. Actually, my last physical my doctor exclaimed he hasn't seen skin so undamaged as mine in a LONG time. Thank you. Thank you It's just craziness. I have to stop there. I could go on forEVER! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  22. Holy cow. OK, I am NOT on the VH1 reality bandwagon but I was flipping channels not long ago and saw a familiar face on some celebrity weight loss show, but I couldn't quite place it. Then, I realized it was Kelly Lebrock (except I didn't know her name so just called her the hot chick from Weird Science.) plus 50 pounds! She was still gorgeous, though, in my opinion with the weight.
  23. I would have. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
