  1. Yes, GFD is fabulous as Thread Drift Coordinator. She summoned me to assist and of course, I'm always happy to help Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  2. Only when I'm naked and yell "Here, boy" Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  3. Excellent. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  4. Nope. I'm the funniest person I know, too Are you an only child? We tend to learn early to entertain ourselves Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  5. Mac & Cheese does that for me...ESPECIALLY my good ol' southern grandma's homemade & baked with extra layer of cheese on top--real milk/cream, whatever...no powdered crap. Oh my gosh...I'm calling grandma and having her ship me some right now! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  6. My animals rule the house. You know you love your dog when he farts the smelliest farts after you give him his favorite treat and you give it to him anyways...b/c it's his favorite Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  7. I have a gorgeous Cattleya. It would be my favorite except it only blooms for three weeks:-(. I love that my dendrobiums bloom for 3 months:-)
  8. I don't think carbs are bad, persay. I was just responding to the original question of wanting to avoid them and the suggestion that corn might be a good alternative. Anywho...it's all in good fun. As many have already said: I think carbs are an important staple to the diet---but the "right" kind, such as fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  9. OK, ya'll. Corn is NOT a veggie by nutritional value. It is a starch, a CARB I don't like corn much anyways. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  10. Indeed. And, as head of The Rebecca Administration's crime & punishment department, I vow to ensure they suck when called upon. The rest of the time, they shall remain in their cells Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  11. I love the idea of Rebecca having an administration. Can I work in the crime & punishment department?
  12. Perfect advice! You don't know how many things (or maybe you do) I don't/won't eat b/c the second ingredient is "high fructose corn syrup". It's gross....and the all-natural stuff tastes just as good, if not better.
  13. Dendrobium (dancing lady) orchid. I love all the other orchids, too, though I have 5 Edit: Forgot the "why" part of the question: B/c they are just the most intricately detailed and so amazing/inspiring to look at. I also feel like a pround "mother" when they bloom so perfectly. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  14. The first lines were funny...then it dragged on Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  15. Yes we do Having a bad day, Hawkins? I have a friend (a male friend, actually) like that. I guess once you realize these people are probably otherwise good people and for whatever reason just need that attention, then it doesn't bother you anymore. Admitedly, though, I have to be in "the mood" to hang out with him---he's actually a good friend of my boyfriends and we always joke about it which helps to make it funny, rather than madening. 16. And so do all the girls who replied. I've never seen anything like that. I thought for sure the replies would read "Congrats on gaining the 30 pounds". Models do NOT look like that. But, I don't think that's what the respondants are striving for. What a terrible disease. That really made me tear up. When someone very close to you gets a jaded view of herself (or himself) like that, it really hits home. You can't understand it. I wrote countless papers and did so much research on women in the media which always, inevitably, touched on eating disorders. Despite all that, I still don't get it and when I see that girl, I just cry. She looks like she's dying. OK...back to you Walt...I don't know if you have a Fresh Market, but ours has these dried veggies that only have canola oil & salt added, so they are veggies (of course, still have the carbs, but not like a potato or loaf of bread). I LOVE those things. Also, trail mix might do the trick. And like Skymama said, usually just a few of something you're craving will do the trick, but make sure you're not super-hungry first. 17. Not to save time, but to play with my doggie and kitties Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  18. I used to have a cell that same size! I think I was part of the first generation of kids with cells. I had my first cell and a pager when I was 13 or 14. Back then pagers were all the rage. When I bought my car at 16 I had upgraded my phone, but still had my old one and kept it in the glove compartment to call 911 if I ever needed to and had forgotten my regular cell. When I traded in that car just before my senior year of college, I was surprised to find it still in the glove compartment. I hadn't seen it in years. It made me laugh. It was literally, as big as your picture Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    Scuba?

I'm spoiled. I have only dived in the Carribean--some of the best spots in the world. I've pretty much scuba'd everywhere there. The latter you referred to, would most definitely do a number on me, I think. I thank God for people like you who take care of such things so that people like me can live better lives Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  20. I'm happy where I'm at. If I had it to do over again? Being that I'd know then what I know now, it seems obvious I would make better decisions than I did then. But, then who's to say I'd end up in a better place than I am now?

    Scuba?

I'm too lazy to surf for past threads and re-post my answer I LOVE scuba and have said before, if I had to choose (thank goodness I don't) I would most definitely choose being able to scuba over being able to skydive. There is SO much, in fact more than half the ocean that has yet to be discovered. Not that I'm going to discover it scuba-diving, but it's that mystery and that whole other world and the calm. Oh my gosh, the calm and the spectacular surroundings. I really, really love it. After I scuba & skydive I feel the same calm & happiness so there's really no difference to me there. I get more of a thrill scuba-diving than skydiving. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  22. What about the new one with the funny commercial? "My phone's at home" "B/c it's LAAAAMMME" I love that commercial. I have no idea what kind of Verizon phone I have (I've had Verizon for 6 years and LOVE them). I just upgraded from my original 6 mo's or so ago. They laughed when they saw it. I'm royally behind the times. You'd think at 25 I'd be in to all the gadgets, but nope---I hate talking on the phone. I'd rather be out riding bicycles or playing with my animals or fishing or shopping or anything else than be on a phone or on my computer downloading/burning doing all that other stuff. My computer is about to croak, too I'll be upgrading my entire office soon, though. I would like to get a nice digital camera and set-up where I can print my own pictures and send them in that Kodak Easy Share to family/friends if I wanted to. I can't even do that right now. But these things don't bother me. People are way too caught up in technology these days, if you ask me, and not outside enough having fun. It doesn't count if you're texting outside, either. And that's all I have to say about that Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  23. Unfortunately I liked him b/c of his entertainment value to me in the first few seconds...you'd have Chris Daughtry rockin' it out...then the next to go would be Chicken Little with some soft, quiet, gentle rendition of an already boring song. It would always make me laugh and make fun of him. I can't help myself... Again, really sweet kid obviously, but the kind of kid that is just BEGGING to be the butt of a few jokes. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  24. Neither There are a list of things I LOVE doing but only in my own perfect conditions: Skydiving, camping, golfing, surfing....just to name a few:-) Lucky for me, there's something I love doing no matter what the weather. When Hurricane Frances was blowing and raining, we wind-skateboarded (two of us with a big sheet) and then stayed inside and painted, sometimes by candlelight....those end up being my favorite I certainly wasn't missing doing anything else at the time....well....I did REALLY miss Starbucks being open Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
