Indeed. But, one will need a lot of stamina to hold such positions and be successful Oh, and P.S. The correct word is "might" be onto something. May gives permission which I certainly didn't need, as I was already onto something. For this, you must be punished. I'll see you in my pain pit Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

*Bump* I just heard on MTV News (my main source of information on the goings-on in the world...J/K) that Chris Daughtry is getting slammed online for his rendition of Johnny Cash's "Walk the Line". Allegedly the band, LIVE, did this same rendition a while back and Daughtry was credited for his creativity and "unique twist" on an old favorite. Some say he should be forced off the show, others say the producers were at fault for not giving credit to the band, LIVE. I vote producers are at fault. I didn't hear my hottie Chris taking credit for the rendition. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

This is the kind of thing that drives me mad. My hunny had one of those water jug things half-full of pennies when we met. He had it displayed in the living room as if it were art. When I moved in, the penny jug had to move out. I think he had $300 or something like that in there. He was pleased and so was I. Now his pennies go into a very non-obvious, much smaller jug that he has to empty when it gets full. I refuse to have a collection of pennies. Who the hell spends pennies anyways? Why do we need pennies? Can't we just make shit even? Accumulated pennies are annoying Again, I'm a card-swiping kinda girl And my Amex Gold gives me points that I redeem monthly for a Banana Republic gift card. My cash never did that! It makes things so much nicer---don't have to handle dirty money, and just pay everything at once, once/month. BRILLIANT. I worship the Amex Gold God. He's even granted me free shipping on any online purchase over $50. Again, my cash never did that! Oh, and the Gold God also insures me when I travel as long as I pay for the plane ticket with it. Cash just gets lost on the trip (well, not by me. I dont' loose money. EVER.)

This question is hilarious. I've actually had this discussion with a very rich friend who thinks anyone who does NOT pick up the penny is a snob. I'm a snob by his definition, then Money in its hard form is gross, it's dirty and who knows what's been on that penny. I don't carry much cash. I think I have had the same "emergency stash" in my wallet for more than a year now. The only thing I carry, change-wise, are quarters. I think I would pick up a quarter if I saw one. But that would mean I'd have to be looking at the ground, and most of the time I'm looking straight ahead and occasionally smiling. The quarter on the ground would most likely go un-noticed by me. Now, if it were a big bill....those I can smell Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

That's hilarious. Reminded me of "Pinecone" from our DZ, same reason He landed in a very tall Pine Tree, about 30ft or so up, to be exact. He had to hug the tree for a very long time before rescuers were able to ladder up there. We have video. And his buddy was taunting the hell out of him on the ground---nevermind it could have been a worse situation---that was the funniest part, now that he's safe to the ground Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Not "bitch" in the negative connotation, silly. But neither way bothers me. You can call me whatever you like. It won't make me give a shit, but might make me laugh at one who resorts to name-calling. I am of the generation whose girlfriends call each other bitches all the time. When one of my closest friends calls or vice versa, we answer "What up, bitch" Usually the other responds something along the lines of "Not much, whore" That's when you know you have a very caring and lasting friendship

I just bought a Sequoia, removed the third row, and keep the back-window rolled down. It's like a doggie limosine. He has chewy toys and a bed back there & everything. In my hunny's truck, we have the back seat folded down and a carpeting board so he has his own play space back there, too. My animals have it GOOOOD. In my next life, I want to be a dog or a cat I sit in my office working hard and look over at my cat stretched out in the ray of sun beaming in licking his paws and wiping his face with this content grin and lazy eyes. That is THE life! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Sick. Me neither. I will never go to the "horse" show in Mexico. Eww. In fact, if I did, I'd probably end up protesting on the horse's behalf and contacting PETA. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
