Arghhh, god damn hipsters. Fixies are mandatory with 90s walkmans and caps with the brims flipped all the way up. I know here in S.A even, the fixie crowd are all hipsters with their Ray Ban Warfarers and skinny jeans cut off at the knee.

The following scam has been reported. This user is confirmed as a scammer and one should cut all contact with any e-mails they may have received from them. Click here to read more about these kind of scams. Remember: DO NOT do business with anyone who offers to send you payment for a higher amount than your selling price with the understanding that you'll send back the balance. Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of a "client" or another "customer". Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be from Nigeria or West Africa If you agree to accept a check payment, then do not send anything, gear or "change" before the check cleared. And be careful, if you manage to clear a fraudulent check then you may be liable for the damages if the bank finds out later. Make sure your bank authenticates the check. If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.This username has been disabled. -

The following user has been reported by several users as a scammer. The user put up an ad over the past few days which was copied from another website, he then asks for payment via paypal. PLEASE NOTE: The ads are often generic and copied and pasted from other legitimate ads, so if you see an ad using the exact wording (As per the screenshot attachment in this post) in the message, we recommend you avoid doing business with it. They will often merely change the name of the item for sale. Username: heikkdz This user is using a scam that is increasing in popularity on sales websites throughout the internet, where they will copy and paste a legitimate advert from another website so that the wording sounds as though it is really a skydiver, making it very difficult to decipher whether the user is legitimate or not. We highly recommend attempting to ask questions that are difficult for scammers to answer relating to their item, that they could not know from copy and pasting. If there is any doubt as to whether the seller is legitimate or not, we also recommend considering asking them to work the sale through their dropzone. We ask you to remain vigilant when it comes to online purchases. The user has been removed from the site and their ad deleted. View Attached Image For Example Of The Scam -

I haven't tried the T4i, but I agree that it looks like a good prospect. I use the T2i and have been considering getting the 50D and trying them out together and keeping the winner. There are some areas where the T* series will always beat the 50D, but there are a few good things about the 50D. 550D/650D has: - Better quality images and better handling of noise at higher iso (uses the same sensor as the 7D). - Shoots video. - Lighter and thinner. Where as the 50D has micro focus adjustment which is great, and a faster frame rate than the 550D or 650D, with less shutter lag and longer battery life. The 50D is better for sports shorts, but if you're planning on shooting at ISO 800+ much, then the 650D will take the edge I think. If I'm not mistaken both are now 9 point cross focus as opposed to the 550Ds single cross focal point in the center. The 50D is also a much better build, with magnesium as opposed to plastic, but naturally it is also larger and heavier...

Sure did, was about to do a move to the speakers corner ;p

-sigh- Give it a few more hours guys, if it's not changed by later today I will be pulling the header ads off the sight temporarily until they get it sorted.
-
The former ;p Apparently being a misanthrope is not sexy.. Who'd have thought. I have about as much social grace as a Shah does modesty ;p
-
I contacted them and alerted them as to the issue and they said they would get back to me as soon as possible, I still haven't heard back, but if I don't hear anything in the next few hours I will send off another e-mail . And nah it's not a pop-up, it seems someone involved with placing the ads into the correct categories accidentally placed a skyscraper ad into the horizontal header space.
-
Tell me about it...
-
Some nice photos people... I want to play too ;) Some of mine from this year...
-
Seems that there was a vertical ad placed in the horizontal ad space, which is causing it to go over the text. Apologies about this. I will contact the ad department now and ask them to rectify the issue.

So your religion has NOTHING to do with truth and everything to do with you feeling the way you want to feel. Well as long as you're okay with that... It is your life.

Very true, it's a concept that exists through all areas of atheism vs Christianity. Many Christians believe that God is required to be kind and thoughtful to others, and they do it because it's what God tells them to do. Where as many atheists will do it because they enjoy making others happy and being thoughtful makes them feel good. Now tell me which one is more admirable, I can tell you it's not the one who is pressured into being good. And this concept stretches far, along almost everything that Christians say they do because it's what God wants. If you have a child, would you rather he grow up on regular discipline and have the character traits that allow him to be a well-behaved, thoughtful and respectful child through his own realizations. Or would you want a kid that you need to threaten daily with promises of being grounded and punished, and yell at him - and then have him refrain from being ill-mannered, badly behaved and disrespectful merely because he is scared of his punishment and someone is telling him not to.

I've actually been surprised there hasn't been more people reconstructing the OP to fit 'Picky Daters'

Hrmmm, will do some testing and see what is up. I will go over the ad sections today and try clean up the duplicates.

Some enhancement to bring it to 'as seen', like all digital photography. Some brightness and contrast to deal with cameras censors never being able to capture light the same way as the human eye sees it. But not even after that can it truly capture what it looks like in person.

Nice mammatus! They usually form on the bottom of decaying cumulonimbus, so they usually occur after thunderstorms. Though I've seen them form from altocumulus too. Had a decent even here in 2010 if only it had been in the evening when there was sunset light, but occurred in the morning. Called in to work immediately requesting an hour late start to the day. Thunderstorms are rare here in Cape Town, and mammatus even more so, not the best place for a storm chaser and severe weather enthusiast. http://www.flickr.com/photos/xmesox/3452728749/in/photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/xmesox/3452728945/in/photostream
